edit: still can't use bits. Stopped the service, reset the service, reset bits from bitsadmin, deleted sisi cache, still throws the same error.
moar edits: new day, and now it works. :psyduck:

put it in a text file and zip it, file it as a bug report with atropos's name on it. The Resurrection: Support the Revised Dead Horse Pos thread in Assembly Hall |

Thanks for the reply
right click the EVE shortcut and go to properties and where you see the "C:\xxxx\xxxx\eve test\eve.exe" just add /server:87.237.38.50 right after the quotation marks.
Example of what it should look like: "C:\eve test\eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50
I generally hate it when people link a page with nothing but irrelevant text when you only need to know one small part, i.e. how to add the /server IP
well after doing a bit more looking through forum found this its solved my problem
I did this but when I go to launch it now and sign it, just says incompatible version.......Help?

There is no TQ - SS link for 120813 to latest test version... So I found working link here - http://www.eve-search.com/thread/1237429. link to TQ-SS patch http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/evepremiumpatch120813-121200_test_m.exe (7.9Mb) But it's still incomportible (the Server IP is wrong in that relise 87.237.32.22).
Who knows any solutions?

Dam, we need to keep this thread going and up to date. I spent over an hour getting from 121200 to 12505 before the next patch wouldn't work. (http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/evepremiumpatch125055-125485_test_m.exe) "he requested URL /test/evepremiumpatch125055-125485_test_m.exe was not found on this server."
I even tried manually putting in 125055-everything above even current and no dice. It's like the purposely allow you to get a small ways, then put a wall in front of you, incredibly frustrating. I'm not sure how anyone was able to participate in the lag testing without downloading the full version.
Doesn't it cost more to have everyone DL full version then to have the patches available on a small website with 5-10mb patch files?
Anywho, so that didn't work, tried to "repiar" and change client version yadaa yadaa, came up with a 2G patch (400mb) less then full download at least.
Still trying over and over to find a solution that doesn't involve eating 10% of my monthly bandwidth everytime I need to patch, any suggestions? Thanks, Aze

No we don't. As always when both servers are running the same build just copy your TQ installation to your SiSi installation.

Is there any easy way to do that without overwriting it completely and losing your overview settings etc? Please do share! -------------------------------------------- |

Huh? Despite the fact that I can't see anyone wanting other overview settings on SiSi than on TQ I didn't say anything about overwriting them, I said to copy your client folder.

Yea I copied it directly over (cut and paste then changed the target) and same thing as last time. All settings were deeleted, all fittings gone, overview everything... This was what I was trying to avoid... -------------------------------------------- |

Did you move your settings too? The default location for them varies per OS, but also per install directory. For example, if the EVE install is c:\foo\bar the settings default to something like c:\users\<you>\c_foo_bar
This means if you copy your install to c:\ham\eggs then it'll be trying to load the settings from c:\users\<you>\c_ham_eggs
The exact location, as I said, depends on the OS you're using but check here for the listings of their locations.
