By else i mean what the dev's intended. please post here anything else observed.
1) The Zyphyr cant go thru any stargates that lead to cosmos mission areas.
2) The Zyphyr can bounce other ships it collides with, it appears that when loaded with a pair of metal scraps to get the most bounce for the mass. granted its not a big bounce but enough to make macro miners have a bad day. and it seams to be enough to interupt the warping process. |

In all my time playing EVE I had never condidered "metal scraps" as being of much use... my, my was I ignorant of the fun - 882,000m3 of metal in a freighter is GREAT BIG FUN! Let the bouncing begin!

Neither myself, that could be usefull to collapse wormholes faster.

Does stuff in the cargo hold affect the ships mass as used in agility calculations and bumping?

depends on whether or not you apply Newtonian physics to space battle. If a cargo hold of scrap metal increases your mass, it should also affect your acceleration and align times.
Since Eve (from what I know) doesn't consider all points of additional mass in it's calculation for speed, adding stuff to your cargo hold isn't going to increase your bumping potential.

since sleepers dont target the zyphyr ( yes i tried it ) it can be used for warping into sleepers at your optimal . very usefull if you use guns . also it could be used for pleasure cruseing all the nice sleeper site graphics that you dont notice when your having the s@#! blown out of you

Any one know if Zephyr is easily scanned down given its small signature? ------------- Would you be ready if the gravity reversed itself? |

I assumed it was of very little use since undocking with it would cause some griefer to destroy it. |

Cov-ops ship, lvl 4 skills all round, sisters launcher+probes, didn't even have to drop down to lowest range to get a warp in on my alts Zephyer, so yea pretty easy for a competent scanner.

This ^
Just like the Apotheosis was an awesome 5 year anniversary gift... It was a flying bullseye if you ever undocked with it. I'm still not sure you would fare too well with one today.
How kind of CCP to gift us with a Sleeper proof ship... too bad that doesn't keep everyone else from killing a defenseless ship. No tank, no DC, just probes.

It's a shuttle. Sub-par one at that. Less speed so worse at autopilot and almost guaranteed to pop the first time somebody looks at it sternly. Apotheosis was better, if somewhat uglier.

When the station gets a little too hot you can undock and provide a little shade.
It's good for some nice screen shots before anyone notices you and you have to finish your photo cruise in your pod.

Zephyr: Its a shuttle with a probe launcher. Sleepers do not shoot it.
So basically I can scan, and die to anything else then sleepers.

At least you can't argue with the price. Was thinking of trying to stockpile these and sell them later to suckers.
Thought the better of it.

Anyone tried scanning with it? I've got decent scan skills and still was unable to scan down a high sec magnetometric site. Got it to 73% and that was it at 0.25 AU range with 8 probes out, 7 diamond spread with one offset. My alliance mate had similar results.

How exactly would you stockpile them?
They're limited to one per account. They're not even as abundant as the Apo, when they were handed out one per character. |

RTFM and don't do **** you know nothing about! Only 4 probes are used at the same time.... so try to watch the nice scanning-video from the devs and try again!

UHH.. before you berate someone else, you better watch the video yourself. They used 5 probes, 4 in a dimond, and the "FIFTH" probe directly over the contact!
Just saying....

So what happens when your pretty 'sail-ship' gets blown to bits? Do you get another one to replace it? Or is it gone forever, and you will never ever get another one on that account? Cainnech Kian Vherokior |
