Well i dont agree that the new mach was only ment to kite! Mainly because it has alot of damage comparable to other faction bs's. In anycase its more that you have the option not to commit to a fight that's great about the mach. Which in terms of faction ships, is a very good advantage over the other ships of its class. You see this in the dramiel and the cynabal! The dramiel is fast as hell and does alot of damage but it has the option to kite or leave a fight altogether. There is no doubt a dramiel can face melt! Same can be said for the cynabal and mach.

This makes sense to me. Your style suggests that you want to slug it out with your opponent. Also don't know if station-hugging gives you enough mobility to take advantage of the Mach's speed.
Fleet phoon's 200m3 drone bay also gives you room for a full flight of ECM drones if things start to not go your way.

Are you aware most of dedicated ac boats now got faloff bonus? Why? Becouse it is the minmatar fighting style now applied better than ever
1-) fight outside of web range 2-) fight inside "at least" %70 of your faloff 3-) fight outside of enemy scramble range 4-) outrun. if you cannot, you die. (number and ship type are different factors) 5-) fight inside distrubtor range.
It will give you the advantages of guerilla warfare. Which is, a) you run off before **** happens b) you are doing far more damage than a close range fitted oppenent and with your faster speed you can actually orbit them and avoid longe ranged attacks becouse tracking. Only exception is torpedos which will deal way too little damage than they are supposed to do becuose of your speed.
Yes mach can be used at "in your face" fightstyle just becouse it's amazing, but there are far more better ships for that and you wont be using it's full potential.

as most people already said to u, mach isnt for the kind of job u doing. u say u want 2 webs and scram to stop ships away from station right? ok navy phoon: 5 dg siege 3 800mm mwd, 2 webs 1 scram 3 1600plates 2 eanm (faction or better) dc and 2 dg bcus. heavy drones, ecm, and small ones (or heavies in case u loose some) 3 trim rigs
with slaves, damnation in fleet, 3 trim t1 and 2 imperial eanm u will have about 310k ehp +-. and its alot cheapper then mach. if u wanna go for real expensive stuff the put corpum a eanm and t2 trim rigs (410k ehp +-). no need of inj because no cap guns and once tgt is far from station, no need of mwd, u stable without it running. if u get neuted u can dock, if u away from station and neuted u r gonna die in any ship anyway :)

Ahem... Not exactly, i was just explained using the ship out of it's role will reduce it's efficency dramatically, - like mach point blank, and if it works it's just becouse ship layout and stats are good. To do so, is like wasting the ship.
