All,
Just a quick question regarding how the Bonuses from a Fleet/Wing/Squad Booster apply. If one had a fleet with valid Fleet/Wing and Squad Boosters and all of them were in command ships with gang links running (the same gang links for each booster); how would the Boost apply i.e. do all of them apply/are the stacking nerfed or does only the Boost of the highest skill level player apply?
Thanks in advance for your replies/answers.

I believe it's the flagged booster closest to your ship in the fleet structure that gives the bonus to you.
For instance, say you have an FC set as fleet booster, and two wings, one of which has a wing booster. The wing with a dedicated booster would get their own independent stat buff, and everyone else would have the fleet-wide boost instead.
I could be wrong, but you can't get multiple buffs to the best of my knowledge.

Edited by: Boci on 04/12/2009 21:26:43 My understanding of the mechanic is this:
In the fleet structure (without setting someone as a booster) say you have a Fleet Commander, Wing Commander, Squad Leader, then yourself.
Each of the three above you can potentially boost you with their leadership skills/command ship/warfare link/mindlink.
However, you will only receive the effects of the highest bonus per category (armor, skirmish, siege, info)
In your situation, if the FC had armored warfare spec 5, with a damnation w/ links and mind link, a WC with armored warfare spec 5 & no command ship, and a SC with armored warfare spec 4 and no command ship...you would see the bonus from the FC.
Now, if the FC had the armored warfare spec 5 with links and mindlink, and the WC had a claymore with links and mindlink...youd see big bonuses to both armor and agility as they are different skills.
Hope I made that easy to understand

Boci is right.
You get the highest boost among those that potentially apply to you.
Remember you need an uninterrupted chain of command, however.

Edited by: Sakar Vahn on 05/12/2009 08:41:48 On the uninterrupted bit, does that mean to get any bonuses i.e. if you have a FC and a SL, would you still get the SL? or would you not get any of them.
Also do fleet boosters (when assigned) count as the FC in the previous discussions?
