This game is corrupt. I am referring to the hacking of data and the changing of it to enable players and TRUE THIEVES IN LIFE to steal players' isk...even resorting to attempts to extort isk from players. I will never have anything posative to say about this game or management to anyone so long as management doesn't stop this ridiculous corruption. Hackers are weak, small idiots who lack morals and would resort to great injustices to satisfy their wants. I am not speaking of individuals who pirate legitimately within the confines of the rules of the game...just to you other POS loosers...you know who you are!

ti;dr (too illegible; didn't read) translation:-
I say, I've just been hacked, that simply isn't cricket! Why doesn't CCP put an end to these shenanigans once and for all! I do not refer to in-game pirates but rather people who hack in real life - you know who you are you bounders!

these posts are always awesome. you DO know that you can't just be "hacked" at random, right? (unless you're an idiot and your account name is the same as your character name and your password is easy to guess)
to get "hacked" you (or whoever you're posting on behalf of) must have either shared accounts/passwords or been to a dubious website (such as ISK buying or 'free ****') and gotten a keylogger. either way, not much sympathy.
Luckily, if you always write in such a haphazard way, it probably won't matter if you have nothing good to say, as no one would understand it anyway...

People aren't hacking the game, they're just tricking careless customers into loading things onto their computer that allow them to see what their account info is. It causes businesses countless manhours to track and fix things like that, and they already do everything they can to prevent it, but the only way they could stop it altogether would be to patch careless customers somehow. Maybe they could start inserting subliminal messages into the game which cause people to have irresistable desires to set up firewalls, use noscript, and do regular virus and spyware scans.

edit: It also couldn't hurt to start psychologically conditioning people to believe that there exists a link between clicking links in emails and in forums and brain cancer.
Unauthorized use of a computer account is illegal in most countries.
Even if they have the user name and password on a yellow sticky note on their computer... On the front of the hourse for everyone to see.
Actually its internationally illegal and if they hacked computer in the United States they will try to extradite you to a PITA US prison.

Besides the idiot uninteresting comments that were left (which is always expected), a few of you truely believe that these type of things just go with the territory (of internet games)...isn't management there to remedy these things?

What is it you want remedied? Your posting skills are so bad, that it isn't exactly clear what you are ranting about.

How is the management able to stop you from comprimising your own computer and allowing others to find out your account info?
And they do remedy these things. They have to hire people and pay them by the hour to fix accounts which were broken into, which is the main reason they don't like it either: It costs them RL money in wages.

if by "management" you mean YOU (as you're in charge of your own PC), and if by "remedy" you mean "take responsibility for your own actions" then I agree, management SHOULD remedy this.
don't get keyloggers on your machine, change your passwords regularly and don't ever share your info with anyone else and you'll be safe.
it's not the internet that's the problem, it's the idiots ON the internet.

well yeah. you were probably key logged. which is a result from a virus on your computer. which you own. so in retrospective i can assume that your acct. was hacked because of your lackluster virus protection skills.
