Single biggest Evol strong point is not their supperior tactics as we have won many mid size fleet battles against Evol in the first 3 months. But it's their persistance. Like Slug said in the point 8. You will have trouble keeping your numbers up 3 months into the war.

Well considering most of their intel came from the Xanadu spy network i would imagine in the up and comming conflict that such an advantage would of been removed. ;/
haha thats the way!

Thats a bit wrong.
Your insults and smacktalking have made many people loose complete respect for you as individuals.
A player shouldn't need to have to take that just because you decided you want to fight them. And by that I mean the regular joe in PA who just like to play the game. Fighting and PvP is one thing, everyone signed up for it. But the complete barrage of immaturities and insults is something only very smallminded indivuduals resort too.
In NO other grandscale conflictgame have I encountered the massive amount of out of game hostility and disrespect of the personal individual.
Evolution m0o and later joined by RKK is to me no more than the babbling 12 yo on a smackfrenzy in CS.
edit: Changed "14 yo" to "12 yo" I realised it was an accidental compliment
There we go, back to normal. Thanks Mr Mad. |

Plain fact, live with it.
But if you are that way. I can safely say I could fill several pages of blatant insults before I even come near the volumes spitted out in localchat by above corps. I blocked you guys a long time ago. * -"You know, we play the "good guys" right? We kill pirates, griefers, retards and general subversive elements in the EVE-Community. It's people like you that cause this overdone hostility tbh Mad.
Personally, I dont smacktalk in local. Neither do most of your alliance mates. Altho I must say most exchanges of smack in local I see are not being initiated by us in all honesty.
Anyway, It's good to notice not all PA members let the smack get the better of them.
back to the brawling now plz. _______________________________________________
Yes yes, blogging is passZ I know. Rod's Ramblingz on Eve-Online Solutions to your issues. |

Edited by: Shamrock on 10/11/2004 22:07:46 I don't smacktalk in local. I just try to lure PA men into my lair for some fun. Deep, dark and sadistic fun.
For real though. That was the most honest assesment of Evolution from a known enemy. Even an alt enemy has never touched that. Props!
Oh and mad, most of us on both sides do a lil smack talking. Some go overboard yes. But for the most part. It's harmless poking. If you have ever played organised sports you know there is more smack talk there than anything done in eve local. Talking smack is just another tool to use on the field of combat. Get into the mind of the enemy and you have them by the balls. There are some other points of interest on smack talking but this is classified information. ;)

Originally by: drunkenmaster Okay, maybe I was a bit harsh. I put it down to it being about 30 minutes before my first caffeine injection in the morning.
That and the fact that I don't know how to handle praise from GODS, it was a bit of a surprise.
Tip: Next time set Autoflame to off
Now that most Evol aggree that most of my assessnments are fair... Except for 10 that was for filler and my theory about the current events... Its now time for some discussion about the matter.
IMHO Evol use everything at their disposal to win, something like the spying and subversion. I think most of the community would argue it is quite dishonourable. Although I did complement Evol on its PvP skill I do not know if it is via a network of spies or just a battlefield assessment.
Another thing that I neglected to mention and it has been touched on in other threads is Evols habit of turning on entities that had previous friendly relations to them. This could be partially explained by what Presidio said about knowing your enemy, however I persionally believe that Evol is just exploiting friendship in order to pull off a Pearl Harbour.
It is one thing to admit that your enemy is good on these forums, it is a entirely different thing to admit they are good and honourable. Well Evol, is the end for you justifiable by any means?
BTW im not a alt im just really really unlucky always logging in when nothing is happening.

The goal of what we do, what we don't do, is simple. To enjoy the game.
You wont see us pulling lame stunts, you wont see us ripping of corps, you wont see us scamming on escrows. You will, however, see us blowing stuff up.
Regardless of what people think, this *is* a PvP game, and, all the resources we get/buy/gather, is there for one reason, and that is to blow each other up.
Empire is there to feed the PvP'ers with gear. Mining is there to build ships that blow up. Cash is there to buy stuff that blows up.
The game itself is much about "Might makes right", so, unless your gun is big enough, you cant ever be "right". You can fight other ways without guns, echonomic ways, but ISK doesnt make pretty explosions.
And, I think the eve universe would be quite boring without someone stirring it up.
We stir **** up. We blow stuff up. We walk all over those who cant protect themselves.
And its our choice to do so. We play the game with a high profile, and we play it to be good at it. We could have chosen to play the echonomic way, but alas, we like pretty explosions.
The only way to prove us wrong, is to stick a tachyon so far up our behinds that we'll never forget it. Might does make right in this universe.
And what the rest of eve thinks of us? Doesn't matter, we enjoy what we do, we are good at what we do.
