Gents,
I am looking for some advice before I attempt a site in a Class 4 wormhole. Is is possible for a properly setup Paladin and Guardian (remote repair) to do Class 4 anomalies?
Any advice/insight would be appreciated! Pasta Guy |

I think the first piece of advice would be not to be so sexist in your assumptions about the people who play this game. ---

Edited by: Atsuma Yishami on 01/12/2009 19:45:24 Well, I got no experience of doing Wormhole sites, though I've read about them and the sleepers change targets frequently (especially if they see remote repair), so I don't think this would work unless your Paladin was also RR-ing the Guardian. Even then I dunno how much damage you gotta tank.
Have a look at: http://www.fiercewebs.com/arcdragon/EverythingWormhole.pdf (I didn't make it, just what I've been reading recently) www.atsumayishami.wordpress.com |

Pasta,
I regularly run C4s. You will need to RR the Guardian. One large repper on it should be enough as long as its ABing and orbiting your Paladin. You should also consider energy transfer between the Guardian and Paladin as well. Your bigger problem will be your DPS output. Some C4 sites like the Frontier Barracks have heavy RR in the third wave. I've seen a Kronos + Guardian handle them but it takes awhile. Other sites like say the Integrated Terminus will be a breeze. If the site spawns 3 or 4 Sleepless safeguards (should only be mags and radars in a C4) you'll get BBQ'd. Hope that helps.
P.S. if you have a POS don't ignore the C50 gas. It adds up fast.

Thanks Toriessian!
Your insight is precisely what I was seeking!
Yep, I was planning on energy transfer both directions and 1 large remote repper direted toward the Guardian.
I have been riding and scanning a very quiet class 4 cataclysmic wormhole waiting for some skills to complete. Logistics 5 is @ 12 days away.
I will most likely put 1 ECM module in the Guardian mids and 1 ECM module in the Paladin mids.
I am quite exited to give this a setup try. Running missions has been getting boring.
Thanks again!
Dave
