I've flown the Stabber in low-sec piracy since I could only fit t1 guns, then I messed around with the bellicose, nano-omen, and finally even a lazer-bellicose to feed my nano-cruising habits under a tight budget.
But this past summer, I finally said screw it and trained up my vagabond! (and lost like 6 of 'em lol, but w/ever them's good cookies! omnomnom)
I even got some decent fights with it.
This video is all-vagabond, some solo some small-gang. All low-sec piracy with The Tuskers and our many amigos.

Hehe maybe not, but I found it on a fairly old scrapheap-challenge thread sometime after I first started formulating the fit. So I think people just sort of come around to it naturally.
Besides, it's the only solo combat-profile the Omen can fit to any serious advantage, imo I have a couple vids featuring it, this is the only one on evefiles: http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/RonanJ/ZeNanoGang.wmv

Edited by: Neurotica Zeshi on 26/10/2009 00:00:04 Found it pretty boring, found myself skipping through most of the vid. You had a couple of decent fights, but the rest was you killing mostly npcers in a gang
And then at the end you fly straight into scram range of the arazu and die

Yeah, i was going to say that you were kind of skirting the range of his scram range. In that situation you need to pick something and stay with it. Either try to run out of his scram range and then stay away from him. Or once scrambled bee line it for him to hit him nearer to your optimal instead of long fall off. Kill him as fast as possible, and then book it.
Flying a Vagabond can be nerve wracking and a moments hesitation or panic can mean the end of yah. I think you need some practice flying a vagabond, but I liked your video. I would also suggest not risking your boat as much as you do. It's rather expensive (being a pirate that can hurt), and it'd be better avoid video of you dying. Instead be a little more patient with your targets and your kills. Sometimes suicide can be epic and amazing for videos. Other times it is fruitless and wasteful. A vagabond is more of the hit and run type of ship, not the go down fighting head on sorta ship.
It's just my opinion. Either way, good video, and I'm looking forward to your next.
