Sweet. These planets are really gonna look good live, and change the ambience in game.

Nice vid. Do the planets move (cloud movement, planet rotation), or are they just stationary props?

whoa mamma. the atmosphere is awesome. I cant wait. More reasons to warp to planets now. but i bet people are going to complain if they start to look identical. Actually are they totally different from each other or what?

There are going to be different ones. They're procedurally created if i read it right. Can't provide a link atm. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Amarr prime on sisi also got the treatment. Rather nice but theres a rather comical bug at the moment. If you zoom out a bit while at the station and rotate the camera, the station actually goes inside the planet. The end result is the planet with this huge tower sticking out of its polar cap. On an unrelated note, Kneel before Zod! |

Please tell me where did you read this rubbish. Of course we can go on planets. If we can stand in stations and stroll around which have simulated gravity or something. Think we will be fine on planets numbnuts!

Can anyone confirm if the new planets can be flown through/collided with, or if there is a minimum 'altitude'?
These close up screens and videos are great - props Laarz (and others) - but I'm wishing warp-through-planets and HORRIBLE-clipping-brown-spheres-on-undock are a thing of the soon to be past... ----- VPN-Firewall Guide

ATM, you can still fly through them. Also, unlike the 'old' new planets, these don't have an atmospheric sphere

In one of the chronicles they talk about Titans screwing up the tides on a planet and causing flooding. That I would love to see.

Well, if this is the true scale: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1165455&page=1#1
I'm not sure there is really enough mass to really affect the tides.
