While we wait for the real video
This video is from the perspective of the bullshoals character one of the Tengu. The conversation from vent is included. The first voice you hear is Katosan, then the basilisk pilot Soryn Kael, next Stubwan (Stu),then Lachus and Jarkaruus (Jarka), bullshoals is next. Toward the end, the faint voice is Chris Sinclair (Only female member of the team). The last voice is that of Matrixopoulos. With him in mind, the team would like to thank our individual corps that made donations to the team and supported us. Also the backup pilots that I am excited about being able to put in the arena for the next tournament. More to come from MANY as we are able to field more diverse teams!
We started to field a cheaper BS heavy setup and just try to make a good showing but "what if they actually do bring the SB setup? The bigger ships are like shooting fish in a barrel". We had the setup we used already planned and it seemed perfect to counter the Stealth Bomber team. Although we felt that PL would change their setup for us and then use the SB team again in the finals, we decided to sink or swim with a highly specific team and hope they brought out the SBs. The gamble didn't pay off and mistakes were made in the fight. You can really see the great flying ability of the PL pilots as they pull distance when being fired upon and come back in close when something else is being shot. To have any chance at all we absolutely had to kill the Scimitar fast and he did an excellent job getting out of our range. You can see at the end of the video it was just sort of mass confusion because we knew time was short and they could just leave the area when being fired upon. Also when trying to make sure the Scimitar was repping It went unnoticed (for a minute) that there were 5 targets already locked and that's the reason that the scimitar couldn't be locked when it got back in range Excellent change of pace for the PL team and that's why they are the best.
Just wish we would have been on the other side of the bracket

You're welcome, I didn't get to see most of the tournament so I am really looking forward to seeing everyones fights. I have a video of our fight with Kadeshi as well and it's pretty hilarious (the ransom). I will see if I can get the vent sound respectable and post that. Something else to watch while waiting on the awesome HD version by CCP.

What was the 5 target lock issue your team had?

Some (otherwise good) tengu setups have max 5 locked targets, which I guess this refers to.

It was due to confusion. Things were being called primary at the end and 5 targets (max targets allowed) were locked before the Scimitar got back in range (which was the ship we would have possibly been able to kill). Before, it couldn't be locked because it had moved to over 120k (out of lock range). Once it was back in range it couldn't be locked until one of the 5 locked targets was unlocked. That fact went unnoticed for a minute or so which was kinda embarrasing so I thought I would mention it before someone else pointed it out
