its quite funny how everyone in the commentary sais that kenzoku is not standing to their old performance, how they used to be one of the biggest empires and such.
story goes like: once there was bob, then there was kenzoku, which was an alt alliance of one of the bob corps. then haargoth decided he likes goons more and disbanded bob. the bob corps joined Kenzoku for a while - but also those corps left a while ago, it was just a temporary host...
its weird that no one on the expert/commentary team knows that, they even keep calling 'em Bob

A few words to the trolls
@Hoetty no need to call someone "scumsucker" - he failed, i pointed out how. the rest of it is an old meme and not wrong to bring there - if it indeed was bob (which, again, it isnt) and feeding the Mavvaz troll doesnt make you look cool either.
@Crovan if a newspaper or a tvstation publishes something wrong, they usually make another publication/broadcast where they say "sorry" - not fire someone. this is neither of both, so even less reason to fire someone.
constructive suggestions
It would be nice if the commentators / the host / the experts, anyone could make a clarification statement, just to show they actually care about the stuff they say.
Also, to prevent such problems, and maybe improve the moderation/commentation/whatever it might be a good idea if the commentators at least would have interviews with the teams so they are familliar at least to some degree with the guys they talk about. i mean this is not the only wrong information i have heard during the tourneys - and such interviews could also add some content for those minutes where we wait for the 27th volley of missiles to hit the logistics improved tank of some random ship.

You do know that i have a real job and do this on my spare time. While I am more than happy to dedicate my spare time to the tournament there are limits to what i can do in the time after work, after the gym, after dinner, after alliance work, and after spending time with my fiancee.

You're also supposed to be an expert though, right? Shouldn't you have chosen to do be one knowing it would be one of your priorities for the duration of the tournament? Not to be disrespectful.
You guys are doing a good job, but it's obvious that the Kenzoku in this year's tournament isn't the same as BoB, or even anything near the BoB of 6 months ago. It's pretty much just a name for some ex-BoB members to compete under alongside those original Kenny members that were also interested.

Incorrect.
Kenzoku is, was, has been and will continue to be, a Reikoku-owned alliance.
All pilots that participated in the tournament, were Reikoku pilots.
No other corp.

its who you chose to do it, so why not do it right? if your time can't handle this, then why do it?

Then i regret appearing forthright and presumptuous. I apologize to Ryas for that, but i still think the tournament should be your priority if you chose to be an expert.
Question for you though: were the original BoB all Reikoku pilots that participated in all the previous tournaments?

No.
Some names I remember from their tournament teams:
Blacklight (BNC) Ja5on (TAOSP) TWD (EVOL/TAOSP)- Also their lead tactician. Kayosoni (DICE.) Friar Vigfus (TAOSP?) Natsuki (DICE.)
CBA to go look up the rest.

Yeah i checked up on some from past fights too. So Kenzoku may be a Reikoku-owned alliance and featured only RKK pilots, but BoB was never a Reikoku-only alliance with regards to the alliance tournament.
Therefore Kenozku =/ BoB and can't be compared directly to them.

Thats because BOB is the name they are mostly known for. Some people may not know exactly who "Kenzoku" was or know who "IT" alliance is. Its just an easier way to identify them. It doesn't take alot of intelligence to realize that.
