Hi , im bored with the game after all this time.
I like to fight love pvp, but with this game mechanics soon or later we end in big fleets. They make me sleep , make me feel not important just one more sheep to press the hit button . i miss the adreneline of small gangs . I try that again but as always, the numbers problem . Ppl just being playing safer and more safer. They fear (as normal) being ganked, soo they joined bigger corps .
Something as to change like ccp do more complete ships ..stop nerf , nerf, nerf ... make overpower ships... i dont care if ccp do a ship with point , buble , agility , and dps... i preffer die to that then die to 30 guys...
Pls ccp make make ppl desire to hang arround, to fight , to feel trust on their ship. maybe then ppl stop waiting a day for friends and give a try and go solo and find someone like him to fight with .
I dont do alot pvp atm .. im playing some cs , some dota for that. Im waiting for some miracle in eve .
P.s. Avoid bad comments.. give sugestions instead .

The past is gone and will never come back.
Adapt to the new environment or die out.
That's how it always worked.

So we will die to a blob of 30 identical overpowered ships?
You think that if there is one overpowered ships all the blow would not adopt it as they will fear to meet 1 enemy gang formed only with them?
There is only 1 cure for your problem: reduce server usage to 5.000 players at peak hours. It will not happen, so no cure.

desyncs didnt exist, the starmap before the one with the black background (seamless... rofl) was lot more intuitive - if i may utilize one of CCPs favourite vocab , cynos and jumping looked worthy of capitals, the directional scanner didnt have a delay and was used for pvp... that sort of stuff.... - putting the gist back into logistics |

you die anyway to 30 ships identical or not thats the problem ,
Ccp have work soo hard to balance all ships with many functions in battles , that now ppl dont have a ship to say... "hell here i go nobody cant stop me, i cant take them all" and go find adventure and die fighting .
No one now thinks he is the cat, maybe in a frig size you can do do that, but still ... if you are alone with medium/big ship you are the mouse simple as that. (eve nothing is linear but you know waht i mean).
An example domis were overpower but i kill alot of them, because they come out to fight thinking they are the cat . ccp nerf ... now i dont see solo domis travel out there.

Unfortunately the only way to make people solo more or fight in small gangs is to make it cheaper and less consequential to lose ships and make pvp simpler.

even more...
Reccons with 5 sec to recalibrate sensors are a joke , jump freighter are a joke, jump bridges are a joke, 2 sec to do another scan is a joke, neutral logistics reparing my targets in hi sec are a joke, empty ships in 0.0 pos make almost impossible to scan a ship are a joke... there are alot more ... but hell i have more things to do that waste my time trying to hunt in a game being developed for i cant hunt .

I miss my nos nano domi - it was stupid but I loved it. I miss my vaga - remember when you could go behind enemy lines and roam and not be afraid of a few rifters. I miss solo pvp. I miss the skill this game used to require. I miss my adrenaline rush
I miss the old characters that made this game - Farjung - Marko and (BB) and many others.
I have never seen a game take so many steps backward in its development, but the people who made this game donĘt really play it anymore.
Still - none of this matters because subs keep going up so what do I know.

Tell that to the vocal scanner recalibration minority. They don't want to know.

Get rid of gates and other blind session change non-sense, have people warp 20 times slower and allow fights in warp. Create reasons for people, a fleet, to spread out across a system to lock it down.
Think I'm crazy huh? Ok, enjoy the blob.

Actually if it were WoW in space your equipment would be "Welded-On-Equip" and him asking for it would be pointless. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

In regards to what the OP said (and many others lately) wait for Dust it seems to be the FPS lots of you folks that can't excell at EVE seem to be clamoring for. In regards to the past, I still think after doing all the newb tutorials for the last couple of years that the very first one was the best. The one where you ended up by transporting a corpse somewhere. It was long winded but very informative for true beginners.

...just like in real life, though I suspect you'd probably die to 30 identical underpowered ships just as fast.

This was the reason i think most pepole stil play eve. PVP used to be funn, and you actaly needed to have some skils before you didd it.
Now you fitt upp a blackbird and head out with 100 of your friends.

What you are asking for is not possible without destroying what makes EVE the great game that it is. If it's more efficient to run then to fight then people will run. And if it's easier to bring 50 friends to fight the 5 man gang then people will do that.
It's the same as in RL. When the US invaded Iraq they also didn't go in and challenge every enemy soldier to a fair duel. They went in and reached their goals by whatever means they had available to them (obviously choosing the most cost efficient option available). Makes perfect sense to me from a military point of view...
Why would people in EVE do it any differently? Would you have them choose an option that has more risks and the same reward?
I think the game would be seriously broken if this were the case (or at least it would not deserve the name Sandbox).

"EVE is dying" threads have been started each summer for 5 or 6 years in a row. Every following winter, the concurrent users online record is not just broken, but smashed. Nice weather means people do other stuff besides sitting behind a computer. Come winter, it'll pick up again. 60k+ online record post dominion.
