What if CCP creates an anti high-sec PvP carebear-rig with a calibration of 400 provided by your agent for 100.000 LP and 50 mil. isk, it only works on exhummers and it only works in high-sec.
With this rig the exhummer can NOT lock other players and other players can NOT lock the exhummer. This rig only works in high-sec.
Pros
1) With this rig installed, the exhummer can NOT be locked by other players.
2) It drains isk out of eve.
Cons
This rig does NOT work when...
1) there is a kill-right open
2) in fleet, it interferes with the ships communication systems between ships and is therefore shut down and it needs to get restart in the ships fittings
3) Pilot has a negative security status
4) in low-sec (-1.0 to 0.4). Rig needs to have contact with concord, in space of 0.4 and less the signal strength is too weak and therefore the ships radius grows. |

Gankers also use smartbombs, which do not require a lock.
I once suggested the "total destruction" rig. It insures that when your ship explodes, nothing of value remains in the wreck.

This essentially turns Exhumers into ungankable hisec transports... Now you can bring 10k worth of crap to anywhere in highsec and never have to worry about getting ganked...
Hell no...
Suicide ganking is a part of eve. If you think it's unbalanced at the moment, then try recommending minor tweaks to improve your surviveability. You're not going to succeed in NERFing it out of game... To many people highly value it as a gameplay option, and its a LEGITIMATE tactic.

CCP LOVES the fact BURN JITA occurred.
just like CCP LOVES Major SCAMS. That's one their biggest selling points, and if you think you're going to get any of those nerfed out of the game, you're very, very ignorant of what EvE is about!!!! |

+1, I've been ganked by smartbombs before (in a frig, not a hulk)
I don't support the idea.
I do kind of like the idea of a self destruct rig, but it might make industrials too safe... |

Perhaps CCP could just release a small server emulator that only has one 10.0 system in it and a handful of asteroid belts that only allows a maximum of 1 player online.

Sorry for posting, how naive of my to forget that the Goons also owns CCP and that the purpose in life is to annoy other people just to get noticed, I only want a solution against the hulkageddon. 
In the first few days of hulkageddon my father was ganked and pod killed while mining in his mission, it cost him over 500 million isk to recover.
Now you try to explain to a 65 yo that hulkageddon is good!!! He is playing level 2 missions in a T2 BC just to make sure he wont lose his ship.
So again, I really am sorry for posting.  |

Hulkageddon is a player driven event. It requires a player driven solution. Thus is the sandbox. CCP won't directly interfere with it, because its the sort of thing that best advertises sandbox gameplay.
As for your dad, have him tank his Hulk or mine in a battleship. |

Actually seems Eve became the perfect niche game. The perfect game for bullying and tell other players to go kill themselves IRL with no consequences. Improve your scam abilities in Eve, the best school for it. Nice stuff.
