So I turned my video effects down last night to get some better fps. This morning I can't get to the login screen, just the splash screen. Time to reinstall?
If you're reading this balta then bite me, that's why I'm not there

I am having the same problem. I tried reinstalling and it didn't work. I see the splash screen and hear the music playing but nothing else.

Yeh my game client crashed and wouldn't load at all bar showing me the client down on my windows bar and alt+enter worked so thanks for that. Managed to get into the client so I could reset my settings to how I like them.

You can also try renaming your cache AND your settings folders (revert if it doesn't fix anything)
CACHE/Settings locations:
2000/XP C:\documents and settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\client_folder_location Vista C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\client_folder_location Mac "/Users/username/Library/Preferences/Eve Online/Preferences/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility"

Doesn't work if EVE isn't minimized on the task bar. My splashscreen comes up and then just vanishes entirely except for it still being a running process in task manager. Eh |

I've been having the same problem. After some investigation I found that my problem was with the pc.dat file in the EVE settings folder. I don't know what the fault was but deleting the file (renaming for the squeamish) and the restarting the client solved the problem. Hope this helps.
Win XP C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\settings\

I had to reinstall my client.
I don't even have a cache!
Still, nothing happens.

I don't believe uninstalling clears your cache files out...could be wrong though.
Have you tried "Safe Mode"?
