I've used Evemon for about a year and a half without any issues, but recently there seems to be an issue with my API key. When I try importing character to EFT, it recognises the key, but does nothing at all to actually import the selected character. On Evemon, I tried deleting and re-adding my characters (on the same account) to see if the problem was with EFT or my API, and a similar thing happened. The character appears on its own tab, but with no imported skills at all- the table is completely blank. I gave a corp mate my api key and he tried importing the same into EFT, and told me the character imports for him, but without any imported skill info- as it does for me with Evemon.
I've tried creating a new limited access key, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. In short, I can't use any program that requires my api, which is a a little problematic =/
I couldn't find a subject for api petitions at all, but obviously I'll petition if needs be. I was hoping that someone might have an idea? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.s. apologies if this topic posts twice somewhere, I had a server error the first time and couldn't find it..

Rubbish isn't it =/
Weird thing is i've never even changed my limited access key until now.. I have no idea what's caused it to happen :S And I can't seem to get a response from ccp. Petitions have been replied with automatic responses so far... and because there isn't an api subject none of them are actually any use. I'm a bit stumped on what to do now...

1. Pause training.
2. Log out / Log back in
3. Restart training.
4. Fixed.
You used the skill queue which subsequently bugged and the API is no longer returning the proper values, this will fix it.

Failing that, go into EVEMon, right click on the little throbber (The spinny circle thing you click to manually update the API) while the tab is open to the bugged char; then click Change API Key information, re-enter info there. -------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the response Rilwar. However, Evemon randomly started working again on its own a couple of hours ago. My skills now show up there, although I still can't seem to import my character into EFT at all- or any of the characters on my account. Really quite odd :S I'm beginning to wonder if the problem could perhaps be with eft and not my api key, seeing as Evemon is now working again...

Have you waited an hour or so after you got the API to feed EVEMon correctly, to try and import it into EFT again?
API server hates being spammed. -------------------------------------------------
