Shame you can't be as specific about the error you get or what operating system / memory / hard drive combination you have as you are about your probability calculations!
Post some more info, and I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

2 possibilities spring to mind.
1) You've run out of space on the partition where your temp folder is (which may not be the partition you ran the patch from). Temp is usually in C:\Windows\Temp.
2) Your download is corrupt. Try downloading the file again.
My gut feeling would be for #2.

Edited by: Gavin Corn on 05/10/2004 01:01:06 Cache clear basically means delete the cache folder in your Eve test folder. Note: do not delete the cache (especially prefs.ini) in your main eve folder otherwise you lose all the settings you have made (though sometimes that prefs.ini has been the cause of some problems itself).
Now that I think, deleting the folder might cause more problems so keep the folder but delete all contents.

null Check out www.eve-i.com and look for EveDudePlus or something to that effect, that thingamajig will clear your cache for you, allowing you to specify which files to keep so you don't lose anything like the settings file =)
P.S. Like that guy said two posts above this one (I think), listen carefully now or you'll **** your eve up, make sure its a _TEST_ folder, i.e. copy the X:\Program Files\CCP\EVE folder to EVE2 or something and use that for the Siva madness.
Cheers, Vas Joy Division
