The problem is that they weren't there. Even if they wanted to "leave the last spot out of honour" they could have snagged a spot for dirt cheap in the 5 preceding spots. People would have loved to have bought a spot for 10 plexes, but everybody there that could bid already had a spot. There were literally no eligible bidders. |

Still dont get how you think they deserve to be in the tournament they made a mockery of it lost year, and they keep saying "we have invested hundreds of hours in training for the tournamant" you may well have but im pretty sure no matter how many hours you have invested in training im pretty sure the Devs/GMs have invested 2x maybe 3x as more time and alot more effort to set the torunament up.
And you guys just slapped the whole thing in their faces last year, im surpirsed they even ran the risk of involving you guys in it this year, and the fact you have done nothing different except send a few e-mails to the CCP staff this year, do you really think there willing to take the same risk all over again for what could possibly have the same outcome? hmm |

There were multiple alliance executors there that didnt bid. Maybe you had the channel on recent speakers mode only? |

Those were alliance executors that either had a spot, or were not interested in competing at all. If all these guys wanted a spot, but refrained out of reverance, why didn't they try for it when it was only 11 plex and there was still a spot left for them to leave open? |

You are right. The eve community is willing to spend 10 plexes for a chance at being in the AT, but not willing to spend 10 plexes to get into the AT |

Top notch question dodging broski. I'll ask again: If all these guys wanted a spot, but refrained out of reverance, why didn't they try for it when it was only 11, or 10, or 15 plex and there was still a spot left for them to leave open? |

I wonder why they didn't bid when the price was 10 plex then. It's almost as if these people you are talking about don't exist. If you can find me one of these e-honourable alliance executors that was only willing to pay 10 plex, was present, and then refused to bid on the last slot because they felt it rightgully belonged to someone else and they can tell me why they chose to never bid the entire time even though they really wanted to be a part of the tournament (for 10 plex only) then I would really love to meet them.
Btw, my passport isn't approved for make-believe land, drug induced babbling world, or the poorly executed troll continent so keep that in mind when making introductions. |

Do i have to link the video of the final? They failed hard. If they pulled it off correctly they wouldn't be in hot water. but they didn't pull it off. the end

I purchaced the last slot in ATX for 10 plex. That slot that didn't sell wasn't because "It was rightfully HydraBreaks" It didn't sell because there was no1 else there wanting a spot in the tourny that was eligible to bid. |

Why was my post deleted again? Is linking to eve-search now against the rules?
If so, here it is: http://i.imgur.com/GLMFQ.png
So many posts deleted. Leeloo's thread went from 25 pages to 15. "We discussed forming 1 (ONE) corporation to make these training in wormholes possible; if we wouldnt merge, 4th would have been forced to spend days and days to setup their own pos, to do this." 2 separate teams considered doing the same thing HYDRA & Outbreak did - how can you justify banning 2 teams who thought it was within the rules? |

That reminds me of an entirely true story.
There was once a kid my mates and i all took the **** out of at school - he was fat, ginger, possibly had learning difficulties and a propensity for telling outlandish lies. sometimes it felt the only reason we even bothered coming in to school was to take the **** out of him.
One day he held a alliance tournament, and let us join in because we were relevant. we rigged it for lulz and rubbed it in his face. What the hell was he going to do to us? he was a fat ginger ******.
Next year he ran a tournament and let us join in again. We decided to take the **** out of him again because it was hilarious he kept letting us. Unfortunately we held a secret meeting in his treehouse to discuss ******* him over - he saw us (possibly because it was his treehouse and it was in his garden) and didn't let us join in, so we cried endlessly about it and told everybody we met how horrible and unfair it was, and how terribly hurt our feelings were, and how we were too relevant not to be part of the fun.
People paid lip-service to us, they commiserated and promised never to forget how shoddily the fat ginger bast had treated us, but secretly they couldn't give a flying ****. Not because we cheated, not because they held any particular opinion about us, but because our procrastination and faux-outrage were a bit whiny.
