Hi All,
I am just looking for input on the range of statics available to WHs. The following is from my experience as well as what I have been able to find at WH data websites.
1) All WHs have at least 1 static exit 2) ONLY C2s have more than one static. Every C2 I have scanned appeared to have 2 statics. I have found other class WHs reported to have multiple statics but in at least one case this was an error in the database (corp moved into a C4 and found that the database reported hisec static was a myth - it just had a c2 static). 3) Only class 1 to 3 WHs have K-space statics. Class 4 to 6 all have only WH space (C1 to c6) statics.
Anyone living in a WH that breaks these guidelines? One of the reasons I am asking is I have chatted to folks looking for WHs with multiple statics including HS or LS ... say a C3 with LS and C2 statics ... which as far as I have found just do not exist.
In addition ...
There are also the random WH connections in addition to the static ones ... but I have no information on distribution or probability of these. However, from observation there are at least the following additional WHs:
HS -> HS HS->Null
Null-> C5. C6 LS -> C5 HS-> C5
I haven't run into C5,C6 WHs with null sec statics ... however, WHs from null->C5,C6 are very common. HS->C5 are relatively rare though I have encountered some.
Would anyone else care to add their experience? (Or if there is a link to validated information I would be interested to read it - I did some web and forum searching but didn't find much).
By the way ... a static wormhole is defined such that as soon as that WH is closed another will immediately spawn to that type of system. I spent more than enough time in a C2 with HS and C1 statics where these were regularly closed to spawn better ones to know that this is exactly how static wormhole connections work (at least in a C2).

You can look through the WH regions here:
http://www.staticmapper.com/index.php?region=A-R00001
ALL wormholes in the same region will be of the same class and ALL wormholes in the same constellation have the same static - even if the database indicates a different static or an additional static (other than C2s) compare to what other systems in the same region/constellation have and you will see what it actually has.
A C5 system will get a direct highsec link on average once a month (m555 on the highsec side) - sometimes you might wait 3 months before one spawns but then you might get 3 inside a week or 2 so it averages out about once a month over an entire year. |

c1: will always have empire static c2: will always have empire static and other wh static. if static is c5 the empire will always be 0sec c3: will always have empire static c4-6: will always have 1 wormhole static
random wormholes can spawn from anywhere to anywhere. including between empire systems. anything that doesnt fit in the list above isnt a static, but can occur (ie: c6-hs c6-ls c6-0sec, c5-hs, c5-ls c5-osec, or the other way around, ie hs-c5 hs-c6 ls-c5 etc)
every connection is possible. max mass is determined by the lowest of the connecting wormholes. ie: a wormhole from c6 to c1 will have mass allowance normal for c1, not c6. do realise that HS LS and 0sec are by game considered class 7 8 and 9. so when a connection comes from or to empire, the wormhole it travels to will determine the max jump mass.

C1: High, Low, or Null C2: C1 + HS, C2 + LS, C3 + HS, C4 + HS, C5 + NS, C6 + NS C3: High, Low, or Null C4: C1-C6 C5: C1-C6 C6: C1-C6
Some of the class 2 sets might be a little messed up, im not completely sure about w/ C2 or C3 static. But under no circumstances will a C4-6 have a static K-space, and never will anything but a C2 have more than one static. Only C5s and C6s can allow caps to enter. |

There are so many sites that list statics that i highly assume you haven't heard about google. static mapper is the best generally.
should be noted that all WHs in the same constelation have the same statics so you can easily spot errors with the data on these sites by checking the whole constelation. |

Static mapper uses player data, i find Eveeye to be easier with the interface, alongside the accuracy. |

Also note that a C4 will NEVER spawn a wandering wh from or to k-space, while C5 and C6 sometimes do. |

Are you sure its never? I only spent a couple of months or so in a C4 so didn't get a good feel for it but AFAIK any system can potentially link to any other system just some of them are really rare and might only happen 2-3 times in a year.

*cough*
Yes. Very sure. I lived in a C4 for two years. C4s will not connect to anything other than other w-space, ever. |

C4 NEVER connects to k-space. Ever. At all. Will never happen. Not even a k162 from k-space shows up. C4 only connects to other w-space systems. |
