Hi everyone! A question for some of you who might know.
Im very new to my current corp. One day infact. And during this day, i was given control of the corporation's Orca. I cant afford one, and only trained up the skills on my previous corp's request. However, was given control of this Orca.
Long story short, after the mining op, i placed the Orca back in the corp hangar, and now its gone missing. Lost, Stolen, or what have you. I obviously am the prime culprit, but insist i didnt do it. Is there any way to prove i didnt? That day, i was lent several other items and ships, and all were returned, so theres one 'defence' i have. But id love to find some logs to prove it wasnt me
Im hoping its lost, and a petition will solve it. However, i really am worried im to blame

There's no way to prove that you didn't steal it. There is no logging of corp hangar activities, so your word is all you have to go on.

open up assets window and search for Orca
then open of the wallet and press whatever button lets you see all your isk transactions.
Place the two windows next to eachother and screenshot it.
Give your corp the screenshot. ------------------------------------- My other alt is a Ferrari

You could provide them with your Full API, which could be used to show whether it's in your assets on any of the characters on your account. It could also be used to check your wallet transactions. If you traded with anyone, they'll be able to see a trade window was opened with a specific character at a specific time on a given day. They'll be able to see if you created a contract or received a large sum of ISK for the private sale of the Orca.

Useless, you can do a direct trade with a char on your second account. Wouldn't show up except as a transaction line in your wallet history that says nothing about what you traded.

Timeframe would match time of theft for a 0 ISK trade, sorta like a big admission of guilt.

Find out who stole it, send their information to me. Maybe they'll sell it cheap with no cost in it and I can clean up.
Or return their Orca (I woulda stole the hell out of it and crashed it into the sun, wooooo baby).

To supplement the Orca, CCP should add another ship called Goblina. uʍop ǝpısdn ǝɹnʇɐuƃıs ʎɯ ƃuıpɐǝɹ ǝɹɐ noʎ

This thread smells funny. You stole the orca and now you're building a backup story that you didn't. Posting at C&P and acting like a noob does not proof a thing.
Good plan tho.
Btw, if you really really (o'rly) are innocent you can always blame on me.

But i dont want to blame people who didnt do it. I mean, i dont know who did, and thats if it has actually been stolen and not a bug.
The CEO has petitioned it, so hopefully that'll prove i didnt steal it.

Next time, if there is one, insist that you trade any ship back to the CEO, or whoever, rather than just drop it in a hanger.

What would happen if the bright spark 'Trashed' the ship, would that show up in the API?

Oh yeah, he put it back in the Ores hangar! So they refined the ores then recycled all the loots...
That would be the best way :) and everybody would get a nice pay on this mining ops.
