Many of you already know that one of the enemy alliance was an attempt to seize control of our alliance. As a result of manipulation of the shares they managed to seize control of one of the oldest corporate alliance. All POS corporation was offline claim and lost sovereignty in systems with stations. The situation in the alliance is fully under the control of its leadership. All standings and agreements with allies remain the same.

Good news for RA but to be honest I think it's a bit late. The sov bit really messed things up, two major corps left, standings have been reset for long enough that I doubt people are gonna hurry to be blue again. Good fight RA but I really do believe that it is too little, too late.
Then again, I've been wrong before. Proud to be shaych |

Naughty bad menÖ tried to wrest control of RA by installing 20+ alt corps, with the aim of resetting all existing allies and bluing Atlas/AAA/Aggro. The Coup d'Ttat failed because new corps cannot , apparently, vote for 7 days after joining an alliance and were booted the next day.
During the struggle, sovereignty was widely compromised, however RA leadership is once again firmly in control of the alliance, has not changed its standings or political positions and intends to honour all existing agreements.
Should RA wish to hire me to write future press releases, I'm happy to work for isk. Added value to this; I can get my 5 year old to coin the terms with which to describe your enemies. Might consider part payment in vodka.

Your logic holds for pretty much every other alliance in the game and theoretically makes sense, but you must be newly acquainted with RA.

If by killing them(and being killed) for the past 4 months you mean newly acquainted, then yes, I am.

Perhaps. But I doubt that after the standings reset and Goonswarm moving across the universe RSF is as tightly knit as it once was. After all, you share no common enemy, space, borders, or language, only common history(which I may be underestimating.)
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see much effect coming from a small volunteer foreign legion, dedicated as it might be. Especially when the first two waves were annihilated.
I must say that although I think RA are nearly dead, I have nothing but the utmost respect for them.
Thanks,

RA and Goons have a lot of history, back when Goons wanted back out in 0.0 and RA was under pressure they hooked up and the massive numbers Goons have mixed with the then fearsome capital fleet of RA kicked ass across the south east, then RA lost some of the big corps and stopped being a major force in Eve.
That said I too think that RA have reached the end of their lifecycle, but who knows, one thing history should have taught us is, never count RA out. |

heh, the russians have 'stagnated' and declined, then had more comebacks than Elvis presley in 6 years of eve history.
They may be coasting on that notoriety for being a pain in the ass to remove...but we still have to see if thats true.
so here's to the thousand year reign of RA, but personally i dont support u - uve held that space way too long |

Not really. Things have changed a lot. RA's different. You guys are different. The situation is different.
What made RSF strong, in my view, was the bond created by the BoB invasion (Great War Mk 1); if TCF, RA and yourselves didn't stick together, you'd all fall. This time around, well only RA can really bite it, and it's not even the old warhorse you guys saved the last time it had its back against the wall.
I look at it from a should/need angle: you SHOULD help RA, because they are your brosefs... but you don't really NEED to, because your survival is not at stake.
In any case, even if things go bad (well... worse) for RA, I'm sure you'd be happy to return the favor they did you all those years ago and give them a bit of Querious, wouldn't you? |

Not really, at this point neither goons nor TCF can support RA without mounting a major logistics operation just to get into position, or each other for that matter, without that closeness of space there won't be nearly as much of an impetus for moving forces into position.
Not to mention that in order to support RA TCF and goons would have to leave their own space unguarded, which makes it strategically disadvantageous to prop up RA at this time.
My guess would be that GS will try to help RA take catch or somewhere else in the south from -A- or the stain wagon group, that would strengnthen both groups positions, as well as probably being better space now that the cosmos constelations are gone.

goon caps are already popping up in curse, sadly their attendance problems havent gotten them further than getting 40 peoples doomsdayed :(
and i certainly hope RA becomes the goons new meatshield, popping rifters all day would get boring, atleast RA brings a good sport.
