Probably not, but feel free to ask as many questions as you want on these forums, and we'll try to answer them.
In this game, strangers are usually happy to give advice, but otherwise it's a PVP game, and you're a fair target for PVP, scams, market competition, and other forms of guns-blazing interaction.
Though that said, you should try to find a friendly corp that takes in newbies. Some may post here, linking you to their corp, and that's fine, but typically individuals search for corps in this game, and you'll have to use the recruitment forum, rather than this newbie q/a forum. |

You could try look up EVE University for starters, they hold some courses from time to time and assist new players in-game.

Welcome
If there's one thing that Eve players like, it's talking about Eve! Don't be afraid to ask folks for advice in-game. Of course, you will encounter some idiots, in which case: R-click > Block.
I'll shoot you a convo if I see you online today and you can ask me stuff. |

This. Very this in fact.
Eve has a steep learning curve and Eve Uni (Corp) will give you a very decent leg-up to get you going.

Welcome to EVE.
The most important step for new players is completing the tutorial; it's quite lengthy but useful.
