If I spelled it wrong, sorry, my mind blanked. I've searched, best I could find was a debate on what was best to mine.
What ore yields the most Tritanium per M3?

33.3 m3 Veldspar = 1000 Tritanium 49.95 m3 Scordite = 833 Tritanium
Anything else I don't bother to mine explicitly for Tritanium.

Veldspar, specifically Dense Veldspar.

Not only does Veldspar yield the most trit per m3 with Scordite second, those are currently the first and second highest value ores to mine in hi-sec, in terms of ISK per m3 of ore. Coincidence? |

Note that you will only get those numbers on a 100% yield, which requires multiple skills at level V (I have Industry, Refining Profiency, Veldspar Processing and Refining all at V, and still only get 99.5% yield). I get 1048 trit off of 333 dense veld with the above listed skills.
Just a heads up. ==============

In a 0.0 station with 35% that be true, but in high-sec you can get away with Refining Efficiency IV and Veldspar Processing at II if the station has 50% equipment. There is ofcourse the standings tax to deal with though... ------------------------ Low-sec is like sailing along the coast of Somalia...

I may be wrong, but I think you can also have veld processing 4, refining 5 and refining eff 1 to get 100% yeild... once again standing will still take it's 5% if you let it. |

You're actually getting 100% yield pre-tax. The refining quote window only shows you your refine % before the refine specialization skills.
Refining V + Refining Efficiency V + 50% base refine station = 99.5% refine efficiency for everything. At that point training any ore processing skill to level 1 will give you 100% refine rate. The only purpose of ore skills past level 1 (assuming you have both refine skills to 5 and a 50% station) is for mining crystals. |

This.
The net yield only shows once, regardless of how many different ore types you're processing. To determine if you're getting 100% or not, ignore the yield figure, look at the loss column when refining, as this is the only place where your ore specialisation skills are being taken into account.
If you're getting less than 100% and there's nothing in the loss column, look at the 'we take' column, and that's your tax, which isn't effected by skills, for that you need a standing of 6.67% with the owning NPC corporation to reduce it to 0%.
