Corp api extract tool that logs pilots time online, against the taxs they generate from missions only.
Then make a "killboard" style table that ranks pilots by their effeciency at generating Isk over time in missions.
If you have time to input all npc ship titles in, you could also rank pilots by the amount of bs killed in missions, or most elite frigs etc, killed in missions per day.
I think you be able to distribute just as many copys of this tool as Coders that design killboards.

Only problem I see with this is that alot of the times the list of NPC's gets Truncated, so you would never actually get a full count for the list of NPC's. The other ideas are great though.

That would be a very nice tool to have. I'd certainly be quite happy if someone managed to code that.

there's probably already something available, but i would like a utility to help with T3 production... the invention profit calculation app was great for T2 production, but AFAIK does not have any T3 stuff in it. it would include success chances, datacore prices, which components you purchased vs building from scratch, and everything. then you could build a "shopping list" of all the materials to build a selected number of T2 items. and it even fetched prices from EVE-CENTRAL and used them in all its calculations and price comparisons.
if anything, i would like some kind of "shopping list" tool for building T3 parts from scratch...
~~~~~ Remember, EVE is a sandbox and other MMOs are rock gardens. Pretty rocks can be collected, but collecting sand is pointless. Instead build a sandcastle and keep it from being knocked down. |
an offline program that we could put our full api in.
It would be a market tool.
One that would allow us to see each item we have a buy/sell order for.
It would show the price we bought it for(Or if we made it, the cost of the mins/parts.
It would take into account our trade skill and automatically figure out our sales tax's and transaction fee's, then give us a price that we have to sell it at to break even, then what profit we're currently selling it at.
The idea is that we could have dozens of buy/sells up, it would track them allowing us to see where we're making isk.
Have it setup so it can track profits per hr/day/week/month and so on.
You could go whole hog, and set it up so it will pull from our logs the items we've checked on the market and suggest items that have low buy orders, and high sell orders, or just make a query setup so we could check individual items, and let it calculate the profits we could make based on the seen buy/sell orders and the volume of tradeing each day in that item.
i know.. I'm lazy :)
If you could do it, I'd donate isk :)
I've tried several times to use that app, but it's never installed and worked. I don't know if it's because i'm useing Win7, or if I had the wrong verson of .net, but i've tried at least 4 times, over the last few months, and it never works.
I know others had the same issues, and gave up, so haveing another app that's similar but works for us would be nice.
Something I can put market logs in and track price history. I'd like something that I can just go from Export from a market details page, like the one for Invulnerability Field I, and then either copy/paste the contents of the resulting file or just upload the file itself into preferably an offline app (a php web app I can run on my own computer would be perfect, since I can just get something like xampp to run it on). Nothing fancy, I guess. Just something so I can track price history for specific items.
I'm not sure if it'll actually help me do anything, particularly as I'm not really an active trader or producer, but I'm a curious sort and being able to do this without logging into the game to see the pretty graphs for price history there. Somewhat disappointed that I can't seem to find an export button for that particular market page. :/
