Hello I'm looking for numerical dps for either a class 5 site or per sleeper figures.
Does anyone know If ecm aggro Will be higher then a carrier repping.

Edited by: Liteshow on 15/05/2009 22:37:43 I haven't been able to verify (due to liking my carrier to be intact) but I have seen several reports of sleepers automatically spawning 6 EXTRA BS for any capital ships on the grid. If you have ever fought a sleeper BS, you know that this is enough to crack a carrier and melt any BS out there...

The extra 6 is what I'm counting on. The whole purpose of the scorpion is to ecm those 6 bs. What I need to know is the Incomming dps beforehand as all that damage is going to primary the scorpion, and I need to figure out I'd the niddy can keep it alive using remote rep.

IIRC sleepers agro list is: ECM > RR > Drones > Damage Problems: 1. You wont be able to remote rep scorp fast enough to keep it from dying from 6+ BSs. Even if your remote rep ammount is huge Scorp will melt before cycle ends. 2. Scorp wont be able to perma-jam those BSs (even 1-2 of them).

I appreciate the Aggro chain confirming what i thought was true.
1) The Nidhoggur has 3 capital shield transfers (permaruns). The Scorp has 2 invul, 1 large shield extender, and 3 shield extender rigs. (and shield harmonizing gang mod active)
2) The wormhole has a +85% Jam Str Bonus. that brings my jam str to 19 (in game, not eft) That should be a pretty good jam chance on each one.

What anomaly gives this? I've never seen one that had a bonus to jam strength, just sensor penalties; is this the 85% you're referring to? Also, do you know if sleepers use one type of sensor, or do they have all types?

So in a class 3 magento site I am able to "near" permajam 2 sleeper BS parallel with 6 T2 racial ECM 3 jammer on each bastard.
It means that I have nothing to defend myself. The 8 med slot is: 6 T2 ECM module 1 sensor booster, 1 PWNAGE
low: 2 distorsion amp II, 1 1600mm rolled tungsteen, 1 Damage control II. Highs are irrevelant sometimes 4 heavy launcher anticruiser or 4 crusie launcher for BS-es
I have about 9.5 jam strength on those ECM modules with my skills (lvl4), fitts and rigs.
The Sleepers are sometimes escape from jam and then they insta send me a nice missile pack. The missiles hit me for about 1000-1300 dmg I have armor about 13K it means 10 hit and i am gone. 2 BS can eat me in about half minutes with missiles and turrets.
My logistic support all the time reps me to keep me alive
In class4 magneto site sometimes 4 reppers is not enough to keep me safe because there the BS hit me for 3k dmg!
I think there is no ****ing way to keep 6 BS permajammed even with max skills in a class3 magneto (maybe you can permajam 3 of them but not 6) but if You are lucky you can jam them for 1-2 cycle but after that you will become stardust.
In class5 WH we tried a c320/c540 cloud, with 4 BS 1 logistic and 1 scorp. The cloud is defended by 2 BS. They tanking 2-3 BS nicely, I was able to jam them but they are hard so they can escape pretty often from jam and then I am forced to warp out because 4 reppers on logistic is not enough to keep me alive. But with coordination we killed those bastards. For 6 of them i think it would be needed a fleet, with at least 3-4 scorp and dedicated logistic and a dozen of dps BS to grind them down. Prove me wrong and try it. I'll wil drink a beer in the pos bar for Your memory.
PS: Ify there is such bonus to jam strength it will have a nice price too. Some brutal penalty for armor, shield or signature radius. And with those penalties you will have even less chance to survive. Bonuses are for the sleepers rather than for the players. We allways try to avoid those WH-s. We live in WH permanently and we lost several ships to "Bonuses"

If your highs are irrelevant, what about fitting smartbombs (or even assault or rocket launchers with defenders) for missile defence instead? --- Some days you are the pigeon, and some the statue. |

Tried not so much difference defenders will not save the scorp. Smartbomb would be nice to help with frigs but those little bastards knowing how to orbit to avoid the smartbomb range and smartbomb will do **** for phantasma missile. But the cruise launchers sometimes really helps to take out the BS faster.
