The videos on this site had me in tears of laughter.
CCP Guard you are one funny dude thanks for bringing some fun and laughter to a sometimes too serious universe.
The POD looks fantastic by the way. I can't wait for the launch I trust we will all be informed in time to watch it? I entered my email address on that site and tried to follow #skywardsphere on twitter but not using twitter much I am not sure if I did this correctly.

I think all names along with thier pictures who are were subbed at some date (don't know the exact date sorry) when they got printed are going to get sent into space.
I just found out this is happening tomorrow at 12:00 UTC tomorrow see here can't wait to watch it live hopefully. |

Not sure sorry. 12:00 UTC. UTC time is what EVE uses so what ever time it is where you live at the time it is 12:00UTC in EVE. Here in the UK that makes it 1pm. Just checked I think it does make that 7am EST but I would double check I have been known to make mistakes.

One way to work it out would be to quickly sign into EVE now look at the clock on the neocom bar and compare the difference to your current time. |

wait...how is 30 kilometers space? 30 kilometers is no higher than commercial jets fly on a daily basis and is well within the earth's atmosphere, not "space". |

Pretty sure commercial jets only go to about 10-12km...
But who cares if it's in space or not? It's close enough for someone without the resources or cash to build a rocket.

Would be cooler had they just attached it to a rocket and fired it off into actual orbit escaping space lol

my bad for not converting correctly in my head, i blame the pointless american standard system taught in american schools . I do hope that the pod they built isn't a closed model though, in which air cannot escape, as the change in pressure could become a problem, lol. |

I agree, it would be cool if, say 500 billion years from now, some alien race in their spaceships see's a miniature EVE pod floating past their ship. would be one of those WTF moments. |

Be more funny if the alien was in a pod inside its ship which sensed the pod flying by its ship http://www.bioone.org/doi/abs/10.2317/JKES0811.17.1 Bees That Drink Human Tears -- ITS SCIENCE!!! |

Next up, two balloons taking a rifter into the sky. Dropped on an unsuspecting fisherman off the coast of Somalia. News media call it a terrorist attack on helpless civillians where as CCP respond: "No Sir !! According to our EULA it's not terrorism, it's marketing !"

Probably a flash drive with Eve players names, though hopefully they added in spreadsheets and graphs to truly show the essence of Eve. Free-áKugutsumen from censorship and end the bitterness. |

So the pod will be going 1/3rd of the way only, but still a nice accomplishment! This is my signature. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.-á Without me, my signature is useless. Without my signature, I am useless |
