Eve-Mag is proud to announce it's first official writing competition, giving the writers of New Eden a chance to show off their work and receive a prize. The winner(chosen by Securitas), will have his/her work with their name featured on Eve-Mag's front page, and receive a 20m prize.
Guidelines:
1000 words minimum, although if this feels like an unnatural stretch, shorter pieces will be considered
Be creative, that's more important than length.
Fiction
Prize: 20m ISK and a hug from Sec
And that's it!
Please submit your work to evemag.com@gmail.com in an openoffice or word document. You will receive a reply email and an ingame mail. Keep in mind that by sending in your work you agree to our Submission Guidelines.

Not to be a jack*** or anything but don't you think 20 mil is a little low? Stories that are around that length could be spent in game to make 3 to 4 times more then that.
Just saying, as I may enter into this.
The hug may make up for it though  .

It's probably easier to see this as a chance to get publicity and a bonus than an actual payment for the story. I know 20m is what E-M employees get and sometimes more. In regards to the other poster, a week from now, April 30th.
