delays - undocking is a random length blackscreen - jumping into a system, can't access overview for random seconds - losing a ship and getting pod locked by a bs as you are locked out of the gui for way too long - got a target locked, hit f1 thru f8 .... target warps off, mods flash, hair gets pulled out - See guns flash, 3 seconds later see damage inflicted - Cycle timer is always off by some margin

nehoo, peeves.
abundance of safe space - there is so much "high security" that it is possible to stay under concord's umbrella for your entire eve-life
people will now quote this and call me a griefer and a ***** (actually keyed stars in, insert your own adjective there) but im really not
i spend a great deal of my time helping newbies into PVP whether ive killed them or not. and am always ready to help them as this is how i found the dark side in the first place.
i jumped a gate and was instasniped by darky24 from over 150km away. i didnt whine, i asked him to show me how to do it and my carreer was born.
i still help newbies as much as im able to, even if some of the questions im asked are maddening.
other peeves - the black screen on undock, not being able to have damage controls/tank auto engage on undock to help with surviveability warp to zero, destroyed local and lowsec markets by making travel times much faster.
highsec navies. enough instawebnosneut. remove the noswebneuts from them and make them fighteable without drones. people go to lowsec to rat, i want to go to highsec to farm caldari navy tags :( with the added risk of being engaged by H-dwellers and ofc getting concorded IF i engage a H-dweller unprovoked

By far the most annoying thing is this! Alot of ingamge time feels like it is utter needless. The game has a thousand menus and windows - when the game is actually "very" simple and does not do a great deal. The UI needs and massive overhaul and rethinking IMO. The game's attention to detail is breathtaking and is what sets it apart from many other MMO out there but as a consumer I do not need to have access to all the details. IMO EVE should move further towards its current advantage over other MMOs out there - to the sandbox enviroment where players are in control and create their own game, their own universe with all the repercussions that entails, but at the same time EVE should make it easier to let those things happen. At present, everything is so goddamn slow to do.
I know all examples are bad but I'll give one nonetheless. Looting. Is there ANY reason why this has to take so friggin long? It is a waste of my time, it is outrageously boring but missioneers have to it if they want to monetize their missions. It is not by ANY meassurement what I would call "fun" - and fun is why I play games. Same with mining. Why does C C P do this? Invite us to do this mindblowingly boring things? Most people I talk to, want to pew-pew, make isk (the fun way) fly in gangs and fleets.
The patience required to play this game is why it is not more succesful than it is a present. Most of the time NOTHING FRIGGIN HAPPENS. Noone wants to log into a game only to sit around and do nothing, but the truth is most do. Wait for x-ups, wait for autopilot to get me there, wait for arriving at wreck, wait for reds, wait, wait wait, because everyone else is waiting too because EVRYTHING TAKES FOREVER TO DO! Right on Jim.

If it were fun, you wouldn't care how long it takes. One of MY pet peeves is that ISK and item inflation has made it vanishingly rare for there to be loot that anybody wants to buy or use -- on mission or belt rats, or even most player wrecks. (There the loot tends to be useful but not very valuable, now that T2 mods are mostly cheap.)
If you removed a lot of the garbage loot from NPCs, and substituted much smaller chances of useful or interesting loot dropping, then there'd be pleasure when you see the filled triangle of a wreck with loot and fun to be had in scooting over to see what you won.

Seeing a flashy on overview and not being able to lock it.
The overall clunkiness of windows and the general UI.
Lack of descriptions of the effects of inertia, Acceleration and other stuff when looking at ship attributes.
Edit: Not being able to go into options and unchecking something such as "[X] Always divide mission rewards with fleet".

The change with Apoc, that turned most of the usual 15k bounty frigates in missions into T2 frigates, that solo your T2 drones in a couple of seconds while shooting your ship and webbing it as well.
Nice ISK sink right there.

stop after every waypoint. if you use 'set destination' you only create one waypoint and it stops after it anyway. your failure not eves, for once.

Random stuff: - The Hyperion: My favorite ship at the moment, but it's so but-ugly I'm almost happy the disappearing-model bug is affecting me. - Drones: Everything from the UI to the fact they keep freezing a few meters away from scoop distance. - ECM: I never like things that take the control entirely away from me. - No MWD inside dead-space. We can warp in, warp out. Drones can MWD. NPC's can MWD... What was the thinking behind this brilliance? - Market freezing the entire game while it's fetching data... Multithreading, anybody? - Used crystals can't stack. Surely there must be some way to allow us to stack them? Like, say: keep crystals loaded into a weapon-group stacked, each with equal damage. - Shooting wrecks being salvaged gets you ganked by CONCORD. That is, if I shoot my own wrecks while they are being salvaged, I get no visual indication (i.e. yellow wreck) or a message that I am doing something illegal... yet I get ganked like I just shoot the salvager.
Can't think up anything else atm... but I'm sure I will the second I hit "Post"

That when I set my ship to orbit a target it carries on flying at its current speed after that target has been destroyed but when I use approach or remain at a set distance it doesn't. When you're popping ships faster than you can lock on you end up constantly slowing down and being more vulnerable to attack unless you use orbit which isn't always the best option.
The delay which stops you swapping ships quickly while in stations when you're trying to get into a salvaging ship after a mission.

The UI. Everything about it is rubbish. It's inefficient both in resources and the amount of space it takes up on your screen because of the layout of the various windows. CCP should allow for user customization because I would love a much more condensed version of each window so that I can still get all the information I need yet be able to see what's happening on the screen without having to look through all those darn windows.
Those annoying little delays between events. What I mean by this is you activate your guns/launchers so they blink. You then start locking a target. You see the notification "Target Locked" and yet nothing happens for 2-3 seconds. Why tell me the target is locked when there are still 2-3 more seconds before I can't do anything to the target?
Making my ship appear/be vulnerable long before I'm even able to interact with my ship. You see this when jumping through a gate into a system with alot of lag. That gatecloak timer starts ticking away even though you are still waiting for everything to load. It shouldn't start the timer until I can access the UI.

Wouldn't that allow players to jump into system and remain cloaked forever, as long as they didn't access the UI?
Surely there's a way to tell when a users' computer has everything loaded and is ready to fly.
