Edited by: splendidzje on 23/03/2009 21:14:00 So,here are two setups I use for PVP (mainly the first):
[Enyo, SUICIDE] Centii B-Type Small Armor Repairer True Sansha Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane Corpii C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Gistii B-Type 1MN MicroWarpdrive True Sansha Warp Scrambler
Light Ion Blaster II, Void S Light Ion Blaster II, Void S Light Ion Blaster II, Void S Light Ion Blaster II, Void S [empty high slot]
[empty rig slot] [empty rig slot]
--------------------------------- ---------------------------------
[Enyo, SUICIDE2] Centii B-Type Small Armor Repairer True Sansha Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane Corpii C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Coreli C-Type 1MN MicroWarpdrive True Sansha Warp Scrambler
Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S [empty high slot]
[empty rig slot] [empty rig slot]
Which one would be better? Or how could I improve this great boat? What about DCU vs Armor plates? /Note that i need a 3% implant for the second setup/

DCII tbqfh. Enyo has a silly ammount of structure HPs for a frigate hull. Abuse it. |

why in the **** do you have empty rig slots if you're going to cram on faction mods?

When I have enough isk that I can faction fit a t2 frig and call it suicide, I'll be sure to come back and recommend a setup.

OP's Enyo is just an expensive MWD blaster ranis with an active tank instead of a speed tank.

Which one makes you feel better? 'Cause that's all these fittings are about: making the pilot feel studly (hey, the 80's called, they want their slang back).

Just tell me what rig will be cool on this boat...and why. Please note that I'm not a very rich guy - I only bought the C-type MWD, the other stuff is looted. So I won't fit an ancillary current router for 30-40 mil to fit up a hybrid rig/or fit up neutrons. CCC's? To last my cap for 46s instead of 42s, and make my cap recharge time 110 from 130? What about astronautic rigs? They chew my armor as f*ck.

Too close to a ranis really. 125 rail fit offers something different. |

dear boy, I do believe you can be richer if you sell it rather than throwing it away, if I do say so myself

Here are two setups I use with good effect.
[Enyo, PVP s MWD] Reactive Plating II Adaptive Nano Plating II Power Diagnostic System II Damage Control II
1MN MicroWarpdrive II J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I
Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S 'Malkuth' Rocket Launcher I, Gremlin Rocket
Capacitor Control Circuit I Hybrid Collision Accelerator I
Hobgoblin II x1
And the second one: [Enyo, PVP s] Reactive Plating II Adaptive Nano Plating II Power Diagnostic System II Damage Control II
1MN Afterburner II J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I
Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S Light Neutron Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S 'Malkuth' Rocket Launcher I, Gremlin Rocket
Hybrid Collision Accelerator I Hybrid Collision Accelerator I
Hobgoblin II x1
Both are cap stable assuming you have good energy skills. I tend to use faction ammo and I like the AB more then the MWD fitting. But I don't view my role as a main tackler but as a back up tackler. The rocket launcher just adds a bit of dps and is used to suck up some of the heat damage when you overheat. I don't use armor reppers on PVP ships but I carry one in my cargo hold. I can then dock fit the repper repair and head back out. Or just get repped by a fleet member. You can also go with a remote repper in your last high slot but it is a much diffrent setup. If you find the power hit to much when you use the Rigs then spend some time on your hybrid rig skill it reduces the power increase and is worth the time.
But you really have to setup your ship based on the role you will be doing in the fleet and or if your solo'ing rather then being in a fleet.
For solo I would recommend the Iskar over the enyo. But in a fleet setup an enyo is very effective if flown right and setup right for thier job.
