Google's not turning up much for me. Are there any guides/sites that will give a real good indication of what skills I should definitely have before moving on from lvl 2s? === This Space For Lease or Sale. |

Battle Cruiser lvl 1 is pretty much all you need to do a lvl3. Everything else just works to speed things up from that point on. *-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^ By the way, I am an Ishtar and T2 sentries fan. Fight to make the sentry damage rig work for all drones. |

tecnically yes, but now for real you won't be able to complete certain lvl3 missions unless you fit the right modules and got a decent skills set.
I would say the Engineering skill group is the most important here, as you want to get good enough shields. Capacitor will be important if active tanking, there are some engineering skills which will improve it aswell.
Some skills you should train to level 3 or 4:
- Energy Management - Energy Systems Operation - Shield Compensation - Shield Operation - Shield Upgrades
then you may notice some improvements when training gunnery or missile skills but I would say shield and armor enforcement are more important. The former will help you complete missions faster, the latter will let you survive and complete the missions LOL.
and I would add some mother-skills like Engineering and Electronics to level IV or V depending on your module needs, powergrid and CPU left on ship, etc.

That's very true, although I would argue that shield can be substituted for armor skills from the Mechanic tree. Capacitor is always important though, it's doesn't really matter how you choose to tank. *-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^ By the way, I am an Ishtar and T2 sentries fan. It's possible to complete every mission if you can fly the right sized ship and fit it with a proper tank etc. You may need some warpouts when your skills are low, however... and killing tackling frigates first is a good idea if you're not familiar with a certain mission.
Basically, if you can fit and fly a BC then you're good to go for level 3s.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |
