I'm using the premium high graphics client on 64 bit Vista and both the large and small patches worked perfectly for me. The large patch downloaded at an average 600kb/s and the smaller one at 800kb/s. Neither one stopped at any time. The whole process took under an hour. This is all using the patching system that launches from the login screen.
I'm very pleased w/ the process up to this point.

If you're getting the full 75883, you're getting yesterdays TQ. Get the full installer for the current TQ, 84224
That doesn't exist on the website.. I can't find it anywhere, so in this case, a link would be awesome.
http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/EVE_Premium_Setup_84244.exe
With this link, do I cancel my current 75883 downlaod and let that one download? And that should be thge full entire new build? - No more patches until bug fixes (if there is any)?

Originally by: Misanth You could be right tho, might be that the classics are getting errors atm. But that'd be quite crap on CCP's part, the classics should at least be upgrading to premium in a pre-patching state by the auto-patcher, you'd think.
The problem is that people don't read the damn patch notes and news items. From the news earlier today:
"Patching from the old Classic client will claim to download a patch and install it. An installer will start and you have to accept the EULA before patching commences. The install will happen on a plain background which is not displaying any patch notes. This is expected behaviour."

Run the .exe that you downloaded? The .RTP is the actual patch, while the .exe is the patcher. ----------------------------------- "What can go wrong, will go wrong." |

BM's and notepad messages are carried over (stored on ccp's server). I play on 3 pc's at home and they all share the same notes and bm's.
Overview (account) settings and client settings is a different thing. You can copy files (different for account and client) and just save all those settings too. I forgot what they're named and where you find them tho.

Originally by: Agent Unknown Oh, and for the people not getting the auto-patch: you probably have classic, which no longer works. Grab the full build and go from there.
I thought CCP stated that classic clients would auto-patch/setup as premium lite, but I also know they recommended classic clients to download premium pre-patch so they 'would need to patch less'.
You could be right tho, might be that the classics are getting errors atm. But that'd be quite crap on CCP's part, the classics should at least be upgrading to premium in a pre-patching state by the auto-patcher, you'd think.
No, it was stated that you MUST upgrade to premium to patch it successfully.
Nice, at least it's verified then.
Have had mine at 84244 for hours so no issues here, just trying to help those with issues. Alot of crap cluttering around here. -

Uhm, I autopatched the classic client just fine. Stop spreading false rumors please.
Also auto-updated with the classic Client without an issue. Took 20 Minutes.
HOWEVER, It appears I am done with this game. I have a NVIDIA GFORCE4 MX 4000 that does not support shading. When I launch the client is does nto even allow me to get to the settings before booting me out becuase of the video card. It this day and age with everyone BROKE as HELL, i can not afford a brand new 450$ video card.
This is really jacked up CCP...
erhm, for $60 you can have a videocard good enough to play this expansion just fine..

You can pick up any rubbish gfx card today and it will support premium lite. Can't blame CCP for not supporting ancient video cards.

I have applied both these files successfully on two machines (upgrade + full).
MD5 hashes of the files: evepremiumpatch75883-84244_m.exe d72738497489d4c35824dd7e0b46c9a2 EVE_Premium_Setup_84244_m.exe 7060391e01f63a5a6248feeeb6d82518
Others feel free to verify the hashsums of your CCP downloads as well to ensure that they are indeed the same.
7060391e01f63a5a6248feeeb6d82518 on EVE_Premium_Setup_84244_m.exe confirmed. Installs without error on Windows XP SP 2
I'm bumping this......worked like a charm for me too. 20 min downloadtime and installed with no hassles
PS: I'm on vista 32-bit
Did you have any issues with the time stamp? It fails to load according to error message for timestamp being invalid.
Can anyone post the MD5 from the official full setup and patch?

Now all you need to do is find some way of shortening the patch size so people like me with **** internet don't have to wait 8 hours for a download to finish |

Just downloaded and finished patching, absolutely no problems what so ever. Maybe even the highest sustained download speed ever on this crappy line.
Since it all went great so far, i'm scared as hell as what is coming next
Vista, 1g, cable, speed was over 1MB/s.

Several people, including me have confirmed the MD5 hashes from CCP's servers with the ones seeded on those torrents.
Edit: If you still feel like donning the tinfoil today, download the files in question from CCP's servers and confirm the hashes for yourself.
