The new fitting screen needs more drone info on it. Right now it doesn't show the total drone bay of the ship, or the bandwidth. The old screen at least showed the total drone bay. The drop down menu on the right is not sufficient. ----------------------------------------------------

Also agree, in an infomation based game it is a little lacking.

We are aware of this issue and our UI magician is working relentlessly towards fixing all of its shortcomings. But there is only a limited number of hours that he is awake per day.

Poke him with a stick
Originally by: achoura Some of the "problems"
- The fitting screen now, breaks everything that the eve ui has been for more than 5 public years.
- Its layout and functionally is not logical.
- It fails to show the most basic information about cargo and drones.
- It is the only window in the eve us that cannot have it's size adjusted.
- It is the only window that cannot be minimized by clicking the top bar (what bar?).
- It is the only one with the ability to minimize windows within its frame, unfortunately there's absolutely no reason to minimize and save space since you not only need that information minimizing saves zero space thanks to a fixed window size.
- It's huge, and that's on a 1680 screen, many people still play on 1280. It is the only window to double up information already available in other windows which in themselves are far more flexible and adjustable.
- It is the only window to force the display of a 3d model, something made totally redundant given that only four ships in eve actually require it, for the other hundred odd it's a complete and total waste of space. If the screen wasn't sp dam big i'd be able to see the ship in my hanger, i do not need a second window on my screen showing me what i can already see, or if it was a smaller screen actually need because the screen is so big it actually blocks my view of the ship i'm currently in
- It overlays the ammo/charge on top of the turret/module meaning it is not possible to mouse over and right click to get charge information. This has been replaced by a series of five tiny, fiddly circles. Apparently someone at ccp thought this software interaction was more intuitive and accessible that the right mouse button, used by every single other function in eve, piece of software on the market and every computer system on the planet.
- The cpu & powergrid bars are circular, not only is this more difficult to view and compare than the strait bars we currently use, it appeasers more nostalgic than intentionally decreasing usability. Not only is the visibility poor it adds a layer of complication, something good ui design aims to eliminate not create.
