1. Myrmidon drones - Medium or heavy? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Using 4 Ogre IIs and 5 Warrior IIs usually. Seems like a decent compromise.

2. Cynosural Fields and Carriers - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The Establishment guys come to mind, reading that description. They seem to be using capital ships as sort of mobile reserve to pull in when they run into a target harder than what can be killed with a couple recons (or just the plain ol' tackling...

3. Why only Amarrian Titans? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
An Erebus BPO was sold ages ago. At least if the corporations & alliances forum is to be believed (I think it was DBpreacher who said it outright) , it's being built by D2. Might be more of those in the pipeline ofc. As for bonuses, I figure bigg...

Just sticking with same fitting as prepatch myself. Only switching around a domi warp scrambler and a regular 20k. Bit unorthodox setup but it works in practice. Hi: Cloak, 2xion II, 1x neutron II. Null M ammo med: AB, 20k, web, 3x sensor damp II ...

6. WCS nerf won't fix Vagabond imbalance - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Saerid on 13/11/2006 14:30:05 Vagabonds are going to be funny as hell if you replace those warp core stabs with the current sisi model inertia stabilizers. A regular zealot in combat fit does 4 km/s with 2 of those and speed rigs (T...

7. Best ship to move stuff from 0.0 - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Recon cruisers would be my pick. Falcon especially. All of those got decent amount of cargo space and EW to shoo away one or two tacklers if need be. Or in case of Pilgrim just outright kill most ships with fast enough lock times to nail you.

8. CCP, you dropped the ball (Cyno, cloak and clone bay incompatibility) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Deserves a read, definitely. It's an interesting question indeedy why they chose to reuse the cloak code by classifying them all as cloaks. Starting to sound like they gotta redo that entire bit of code if they want it to work. Beyond that.. it's...

9. Honestly, are the races balanced? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I'd say far better than you'd think after reading the forums. Few observations: 1) Relative importance of midslots have changed over the past 6-12 months. This lead to strengthening all the ships with 5-6 or more mids. 2) Stacking nerf killed pur...

Favourites.. 1) Heavy Assault Cruisers. Zealot in my case. 2) Battleships. Dominix and Armageddon. Cheap and nasty.

11. STOP the rabble! The ships arent even out yet - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
T2 Ammo. There's a good case of wait and see where people didn't start ranting and posting speculative scenarios of how things could go wrong. And I think we know how that turned out. Or in a word, rant away. Speaking of T2 ammos, what do you thi...

12. Another perspective on whether large turrets are balanced? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Sensible enough metric, I figure. On the whole the print counts should be about even for all the weapons, so the prices do reflect demand. And even factoring in the availabiity regionally the result is still going to be the same (that's where trad...

13. t2 indy and suicide ganks - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I think worst I've ran into (and through) with a T2 hauler was a couple tach apocs camping. Slowboated it to the gate and they hardly scratched a prowler. So reasonably safe. Funny experiment to test it out would be to buy a couple HAC BPCs (low ...

14. Epic fleet battles that last hours? Yes please! :D - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Well written , well thought out. Would also amount to one massive patch and combat revamp. So... - Nerf IC dps some, but increase their speed even further. - Nerf T2 ammo range bonus to T1 levels. Keep damage. Maybe reduce penalties or whatever....

Using a Prowler myself, works decently well. Not a big fan of MWDs on it though (when you really do need that speed, last thing you'll want is sig radius ballooning up to size of a small moon). Med Beam/Pulse II,arby assault launcher 10 AB II,Me...

17. STOP buying overpriced HACS - in Ships and Modules [original thread]

18. STOP buying overpriced HACS - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Saerid on 15/01/2006 14:05:57 Either way, HAC production output is just plain too small. More prints would spread the control nicely as well, personally wouldn't mind it in the least (counterintuitively we benefit more from a BPO ma...
