Sounds like either the firewall on your Mac/home Router or ISP is blocking the port needed. Check your settings on the home router/fire wall.

Using a power supply other then the one rated for your mac book pro is not advised. (check your owners manual in the warnings section) Doing so you risk burning your logic board out (can you say new laptop and if apple figures out you over voltage...

My guess is your Logic board ( which contains the Gfx card on the iMac's) has went bad. or the screen is suffering from a bad connection/backlighting failure. Either way.. you should have went to Apple first, not here. Either failure is not cheap ...

Yes I have seen the multiple icons for Eve Online...One opens for each tab when using the in-game browser. Make sure you close the In-game browser before exiting. if that's not the issue, you might be able to force quit them from the Activity mon...

All the cider dumps for eve have that same major version number, even if the client is fully patched to the live system. I guess this means based on the above explanation CCP needs to hammer Transgaming to update their product.

Pirado, Look under Applications/Utilities/Console It's not really a console, but a log reader app for the system. It supports spotlight and you can search for EVE or any other relevant info.
