...but would anyone bother to spend the time training these skills? You could get the same effect, surely, by just eve-mailing friends or posting a "what do you think of Bill?" message on your corp forum, and it'd be more reliable. Am I missing s...

Y'know, given that here in internet-land we all interact with each other with electical impulses, I'd've thought the 'net was the one place where the stuff dangling between your legs (or not dangling, as the case may be) could not possibly matter ...
