Why do you compare rails to ac?, compare it to arty instead. I have an arty rupture that goes 2,8k+ m/s with heat and 18k optimal + 36km falloff.

Active shield tanking is not really any better than armor tanking. Normal shield boosting isn't good enough without implants and links, ASB works somewhat but it's very limited and you have to use more than one or an oversized booster on most ships.

It's a solo pvp ship and why would you try to kill someting that has a heavy neut? Isn't it obvious that more people use buffer fit ships since it works on almost all ships, active tanking doesn't.
