4. Ice mining Worth the time? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Halborn As stated ice mining really pays off in small to mid gangs. The size of the mining operation has nothing to with mining profitability. 1 mackinaw earns just as much isk per character as 20 mackinaws. There's only ...

6. Solo life in a WH - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Don't listen to them, a small POS will be perfectly fine. Sure, in theory a small POS is very easy to take down, but in practice you need to be really bored to justify doing it when the reward is that small. Just make sure you have at least a day...

Edited by: Induc on 01/07/2010 17:47:23 If you're only going to do reactions with the POS consider putting it up in a C1 with a static highsec. It's much safer, and the only limit on the number of POS's you can setup is how much fuel/materials...

13. So CCP, you didnt really think through PI's impact on pos fuel prices? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
It's not that bad really, since about 50% of the fuel costs comes from ice. Even with enriched uranium at 22k the cost to run a large pos wouldn't even exceed 300m per month, which is "only" 50% more expensive than pre-tyrannis...
