1. 62m SP pvper returning to the game - in Alliance and Corporation Recruitment Center [original thread]
Been out for a while, so I'm rusty, but decided to give Eve another go. I've done low-sec pirating and extensive 0.0 living. I'm fully specialized in Gallente ships, including carriers and dreads, but I don't have the time to play like I used to, ...

2. Evelopedia is hosted in Czech Republic WTF - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Czechs make the best beer to be honest, thus it makes perfect sense that CCP would be interested in doing business there.

3. [Request] Bring back the alliance tournament! - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
There's always controversy around how they run it, but as every year they try to address the concerns of the previous year. Keep it up! Vote yes. :)

4. Thanks CCP for ruining yet another part of the player experience! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I, for one, am glad CCP finally addressed all the complaints that were doubtless pouring in from all quarters about Chribba and his dread in high sec.

5. Faction Warfare is going downhill fast. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
People leaving FW was probably inevitable around this time. At first it was new and shiny, so everyone wanted to try it. Now that everyone has tried it, a portion are going to filter back to 0.0, or piracy, or high sec corps, or what have you. ...

6. Am I the only one who doesn't care what CCP does with their game? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
There is definitely too much sense and level-headedness in this thread. It should be deleted at once.

8. Mining, Missions.... Now what? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Fly frigates. A brand-new player should be able to contribute to PvP inside a week. Everyone needs tacklers. But the real key to getting past that early stage and in to the fun is to join a corporation. An active corporation that accepts new play...

9. Why would anyone pick mining over missions? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You make better money mining a bit later on. Take a hulk out in 0.0 space and you'll do pretty good. I imagine a lot of the people who mine in high-sec are either newbies, or manufacturers who increase their margins by getting the ores themselves....

10. Titan Stolen by Coranor of Bob - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Someone should make an Eve business where they read threads like this and assemble cliff-notes versions, then sell them for isk. I admit to being mildly curious what the whole story is... but not 22 pages worth. :P CAOD is so amusing!

11. Stacking modules in the UI - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Just a thought I had while mashing buttons to activate the seven turrets on my Brutix. I know there's a lot of talk about UI changes and the need for hotkeys. What I would like to see is the ability to stack like modules on each other when you're...

12. EVE: A failure. (vent) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Not to pass judgment on your own claim either way, but it is pointless to get worked up about. CCP has become extremely militant about denying reimbursement claims, despite pleas for logic or mercy. You either roll with it or quit. Good luck.

13. PvP Viability - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I think 99 out of 100 Eve players find Evemon very useful, but obviously everyone is free to decide for themselves. It's just an organizational tool, and it's fun to play with various skill plans to see what's possible. Personally, my Evemon has l...

14. PvP Viability - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Don't get caught up in specific skills and total skill points, it'll bog you down. I'm quickly approaching 200 skills plugged in, and I'm not on the high side for a character of my age. It's not at all overwhelming if you just take it one day at a...

15. PvP Viability - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
First thing to realize is that the term "pirate" can be somewhat vague in Eve. Two groups may do very similar things, but one will call themselves pirates and the other will not. The deciding factor seems to be whether it's being done in low-sec s...

17. Becoming PvP viable as fast as possible. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The key to being effective quickly is to specialize. There are many different levels of specialization. At the most basic level, maybe you decide you like Caldari ships. Thus, don't cross-train to any other races ships. Train only Caldari. After ...

18. DPS vs volley damage? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
They're both important, but for different things. High DPS is generally the preferred measurement, because it's your damage over a sustained time, which is what will matter in most relatively even fights. The only time volley damage matters is if ...
