Originally by: Jon Asus Never fear, Derek is all better now. There's no sign of infection, just a bit of a misunderstanding. Not so. Tread on memes gently, for they were invented by Richard Dawkins and they are infectious.

5. The farce that is killboard statistics. - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Oh, and in case you want meaningful stats, just restrict the set of killers to the person who made the final blow, in which case you can compare player, alliance and corporation stats. Of course, if you don't get any final blows then you will app...

6. The farce that is killboard statistics. - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Let P be a set of players, K be a set of kills and f : P -> K. It is obvious that f is not invertible, because if f(x) = f(x') then it does not necessarily follow that x = x' (as there exists at least one case where two different players are r...

7. Eastbound and Down - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: Avon I find it odd, however, that people who just dismiss my views as damage control then feel an urge to actually make a post saying so. It is almost as if they would rather do that than, you know, enter in to a discussion...

In this particular case, BoB arrogance shines through perfectly. Avon: try overloading those DCII mods, it looks like you need it. Respect goes to M.Pire.

Well our original plan was to go back and take this space we have wanted, but looking at our forums, and alliance chats looks like many corps are leaving. I know I am in one of the larger corps in Roadkill and we are leaving in about 3 days. Congr...

20. Now that Vista has failed... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Vista is broken by design. I have an operating system to manage my hardware and run my programs effeciently. I do not buy hardware to run my operating system and so that the applications can survive on the fringes.
