That is just hilarious! As IF they actually 'tried' in the first place. They finally get a synapse firing, and all of a sudden they have an idea that will change everything for the better!

Seriously, this game is spiraling out of control, and all you have are people who either hate it cuz they can't adapt, or those that love it because they are too blinded by their inability to see anything other than what they currently like.
You are both wrong... No one is better than the other. There is no 'balance' in this 'game' and as many years as this game has been out, it really is a friggin' shame that it still has some of the problems it does have.
But honestly, the way most of you spew forth trash all day long here is just silly. Defending this game as though it is the best of the best.

Now, having said all of that, I do still enjoy EvE, and I play it to my tastes/desires.
I don't see why all of you just can't stfu and play the game for what it is. If you don't like it, there are plenty of other games out there. Stop your crying already.

1. Another favourite MMO is going to the bunkers. And fanboys rush to other places to post bad in hope of new blood to their MMO.
2. Someone got anoyed in EvE and now make alot of posts with alts en mass to...compensate.

Upgrading is not losing though, as you put it i benefited from one skill, IF this change went through people could benefit from several skills in the time it took me to get that benefit.

People training it now would train it faster leaving more time for other skills, and wouldnt need to update their clone as soon.

You are right, all i lost was training time, but i spent the time to train it in the first place, i made the effort to do it, the amount of time that would be lost is substantial to people even whom like me have been playing for over 2 years now. 700k is a fair chunk of SP that would be wasted should this happen, and in effect would just "Dissapear"

All i'm saying is, if some idiot gets his 20k SP refunded for the server going down "Seconds before a skill ends" whats so difference about this scenario, with the dissapearing SP's.

They never do, even when other skills have been changed. Because you trained it up and benefited from the training.

Much like when they altered the named mining modules, nobody got a refund on that

With my attributes, 700 SP in a gunnary skills is about 19 days last i bothered to check, which is substantially more than the usual "Oh wow you lost 20k SP because you didnt set a long skill for a patch lolnub"

They never do, even when other skills have been changed. Because you trained it up and benefited from the training.

Much like when they altered the named mining modules, nobody got a refund on that

I applaud your decission to think outside the box and re-classify "Advanced Weapon Upgrades" as a Rank "3" skill intead of a Rank "6" skill. It only made sense since weapon upgrades was a rank 2. I am especially appreciative since I will be starting my train to lvl 5 when you implement the change. Thank you for listening to your playerbase!
