Anyone else had any problems with gaining SOV on SISI? I've anchored many pos for alliance in a system without any other pos and it has been over 7days. Any info would be appreciated thanks. I am currently training cap ship construction lvl4 on SISI and i intend to be building motherships there as soon as possible,

Obviously i cannot fly such a ship so anyone who wants to take them off my hands after i am finished with them is welcome to.

Im still undicided on which one/s i will build yet and so if you need a specific one i might be able to build it.

I dont know if i will have enough time to do it... but i will be training to build titans once i get the ability for m'ships.

Maybe if they give us all lvl5 skills for a test day i can fly my own :)

Hi,

I was in the middle of building two Wyverns on SISI with approximately 4 days remaining on the build before the new mirror was applied.

I don't have capital ship construction 4 or caldari freighter 4 to be able to setup a POS possible of manufacturing capitals anymore.

Is there any way around this, or will have to spend another month + training those two skills, setup the POS and haul all the cap parts to the POS, before I will be helped?

I have just joined the Doomsday Testing Alliance on Singularity and I will be helping to sponsor the soverignty based testing that some of you may wish to undertake.

This includes:
-- Capitalship construction
-- Jump bridge testing
-- Cyno jamming testing
-- Other POS related tests
-- Anything else you might want

I need players who can help manage poses, and i need players who have the ability to start capitalship construction projects.

The testing alliance has been set up in the Yrton constellation in Cloud Ring. The headquarters are in the FD-MLJ Intaki Bank station.

You can apply with your character to the Doomsday Testing Player Corp or as a CEO.

You can normally go to FD- bank and apply to Player testing corp, or go to your corp icon and go to alliances, then search for doomsday testing alliance, the one made by a CCP or BH and right click apply then wait 7-10 days. (7-10 is the standard time it takes CCP and friends to respond to anything on SISI that is not fun for them.)

A new mirror has been deployed to Singularity yesterday. We expect it to last around 3-4 weeks, so I did not set up the testing alliance and the sovereignty. If anyone thinks they could use this service for testing in the next 3 weeks or so, please reply in this thread and I will set up things on Monday/Tuesday.

However, due to my extremely limited time in this period, I will only set up the alliance and level 3 sovereignty in one constellation, probably without outposts, although I will try to find an unclaimed constellation with an existing outpost.

The alliance is set up and there are four outposts in Yrton, with various levels of sovereignty. However, this was set up as test environment mainly, so there is no market seeding or full constellation sovereignty.
As this is going to be a "short" mirror I'd advise against starting any supercapital build jobs, though.

Afaik, Oneiro did go through with making the DTA (Doomsday Testing Alliance) again, but with it being a new mirror just last week, I don't think its been put back up yet (or I haven't seen the usual office in top station of FD-MLJ where it should be)

Also, I think you just apply to the corp, and you get accepted automatically or something...and gain access to some high sovereignty space to build stuff, heh.

soo all in all i would say it is a privilege that CCP have such a extremely good testing community..

and for your last thing, yes it would properly be more constructive, but personally i think that it is a very important thing ccp is doing and i hope you will keep it up, but as we appreciate you for your will to do it, so should you show some appreciation for what free "work" the player base provide ccp with.

I was not citing anything, simply reminding people that access to the test server is a bonus we chose to offer our customers. Not guaranteed in any way. Furthermore, the facilities I offer for testing certain issues are complementary. The initial precisation was to prevent people complaining about the discontinuity of the service should I become too busy to dedicate my *free time* to it.
Attempting to bully me into guaranteeing said complementary service by accusing me that I don't care about our customers and citing things out of context is much less likely to make me become more helpful and more likely to irritate me and cause me to discontinue any previous player support on the test server, such as reactivating accounts and the very subject of this thread.

I had 3 motherships on build in D4R-H7 2x Wyvern's and 1x Hel @ planet 5 moon 1 and 1x Nyx @ planet 7 moon 1 due to complete Saturday 24th November 2007 (unsure of the exact time). This mirror has obviously screwed that up and unfortunatly I have no screen shots to prove. Will I still be eligable for this offer?

get a friend with a charon or obelisk to carry it...they can fit it at lvl 4

I'm having issue trying to fit the Capital SAA into my fenrir (don't even know if 900,000m3 will ever fit into a fenrir). Was hoping to drop one or more CSAA's into one of the POS's I have already setup on sisi with the "armageddon day" skills using a charon, but may not have the ability to be online by the time I reach the front of the queue. Get the CEO of your corporation to apply to Doomsday Testing Alliance. I will keep the name to avoid confusion, although the testing is not limited to supercapital buildings - you are welcome to test all the new features that require sovereignty.

Also if you actually READ the supercapital thread, you'll see Oneiro/the devs/GM/CCP staff in general are going out of their way to get people their supercaps built on Sisi. I can fully understand their reasoning to not spawn them on request - it encourages realistic testing and makes sure people don't abuse the ship spawning capability.

While i see your point and understand CCP's reasoning behind not spawning them it's still a bit of a kick in the nuts when u trained 50d+, built a titan that u never will be able to use as the skill will finish a day or two after the mirror and as the ship finished about 4 days ago i won't get any reduced time on the next mirror.

With the new mirror coming, I'm not going to be able to install the job myself (won't have capital ship construction 4). Will you still be able to setup the job like you've offered to do on this mirror? Will you also be able to help us get over the hump on sov levels? There are a few people in my alliance (all in different corps) who've been poking at various things so I'm not sure we want to swap alliance just to get sov faster.

In regard to this topic HERE, I have thought up a cunning plan to minimize the time that players spend building supercapitals on the test server.

First and foremost, there will be NO spawning of Motherships and Titans. None whatsoever, under any circumstances.
We will try and set up a few constellations with all the sovereignty levels, so that players can test the new POS structures, outpost building and upgrades and supercapital building without having to wait a few weeks or months for the required sovereignty level.
I will continue to help players that request it to set up POS'es and capital arrays, haul components and install jobs, although I will have much less time for it now. The testing alliance will be recreated after the mirror and everyone is free to join.

What do I do if I am building a ship on the current mirror?

If your current build job has a completion date that exceeds the life expectancy of the current Singularity mirror (that is to say, the new mirror will come before your ship is built), take a screen shot of the Science & Industry window with the supercapital build job(s) in progress, making sure that the start and completion dates are visible. I will be checking this against the database, so after the new mirror is deployed no more screen shots and requests will be accepted.
You will have to install a new build job on the new mirror, but I will subtract the construction period from the current mirror.
Example: Player X is building a Mothership; the build job takes 23 days would complete 12 days after the new mirror is deployed. After re-installing the job on the new mirror, 11 days will be subtracted from the building period to account for the build time spent on the current mirror.
