greetings. i am from romania (europe for you ignorants). i'd really like to participate in the fan fest but i need some info i can't seem to find easily. firstly, any ideea how much (in euros) would cost me to spend 3 days there (transport NOT included), bookings, drinks, prostitutes...(joking) ?

and also, do i need a "fanfest ticket"? if so, where can i purchase one from and how much does it cost.

and thirdly. do i need to bring my own pc?

Want to go to the fanfest but haven't booked yet?
You can almost half your cost if you don't mind sharing a room.

I'm currently still looking for somebody, I don't care about which hotel and i'm a bit flexible on the dates.

Furthermore I don't snore and I'm a mature 22 year old guy from belgium who speaks very decent english.

me and the wife are flying out to iceland on the 6th from glasgow.

went to order so krona from thomas cook and was told they cannot order any.

now will it be a problem to buy it at the airport once we get to iceland? or better off ordering travellers cheques?

It's been nearly 5 months since our last EVE Players gathering in Toronto. I figure it's time for our next one before the Christmas holidays arrive. This event is tentatively scheduled for Friday, November 14th.

When: Friday, November 14th @ 7:30pm

Im gonna throw something together for my corp but after a quick discussion with the directors they want all you lot there as well. Were thinking late november (22nd or 29th) and atm this is just an interest list. If there looks to be enough people interested we'll green light it and prep. We have a couple of zone 1 venue's in mind.

Hello all Calgary Alberta Players me and a fellow eve player where thinking about holding a all day eve event at the south location switchbox. The date is unsure yet. Cause we have no idea what day would be acceptable for everyone.

Hi I'm interested in going to the eve fanfest this year, it will be my first and most likely last time I will ever go.

I was wondering a number of things, first are there any other east midlands eve players thinking of going and can someone give me some experienced advices to help organise my trip. Like for example chespest flight, what time the event start and what parts of the event is whether tagging along too.

I have do the initial research and seen the icelandair flights from the UK to Iceland but I was wondering if its worth coming on the 5th or 6th of november?

Also is there anything I need to be aware of like extra costs?

Hello everyone,

I'm posting this on behalf of a good friend of mine, who said I should post up on the EVE-O forums to gauge interest.

He owns a restaurant in downtown Langley and thought it might be fun to host an EVE LAN party there. There is internet all hooked up, and plenty of tables and places to set up computers. (I think he mentioned it'd be best in the banquet area, depending on turnout). I will get him to post up some details if he was serious about doing this. :D He also mentioned something about available booze... so... yeah.

The idea would be to have an EVE gathering over food and drinks, meet up in space, and head out as a gang somewhere crazy and blow stuff up/get blown up ourselves.

Anyone interested? Post up!

There has been a thread for players in the South West of the UK fulminating away for four years now, with no meeting... Time to put that right!

A few of us have decided to meet up in a pub in Cheltenham on Saturday the 25th of October for a few beers to swap war stories. Numbers aren't particularly huge at the moment, so its planned to be a pretty casual afair, none of that lan party malarchy etc, just a night on the lash with fellow players. Given enough interest I may try to reserve an area of the bar. Everyone welcome.

Anyway, its on the 25th of October from about 8.30 at the Beehive, 1-3 Montpellier Villas, Cheltenham, GL50 2XE.

Theres decent beer there and I'm told the food is good. The pub is slightly hidden away in a backstreet behind the flats near the old eagle star tower.
